Lou Malnati's Pizzeria Chicago-style.. $22.39 At the Fresh Market..

Never had it and will never spend $22.39 on a frozen pizza... Has anyone had it?

LINK

I had the real thing a couple years ago in Chicago. It was legit if you're a deep dish type of guy.

That's expensive as shite though

To be fair, a deep dish pizza like that feeds 4 people.

Can you even see the puck with the low grade quality of TV at the time?

We didn't know any better, it's all we had. Wouldn't trade it for anything though, it was a great memory and something that brings me back to that night 46 years ago. Times were simpler back then, what a time to be alive. We had no idea how great the 80s would be at that time.

gay son / thot daughter?

Typical response with no substance. B.R. is a shithole, I went to school there 35+ years ago, it's not the same. A gay son would fit in better at woke LSU than ATM to be honest. "Thot" not sure what that refers to, but I'm sure it would fit in better at a woke U.

What a trash list. College Station is one of the safest campuses in the country.

Without a doubt. My SIL lives in Bryan, College Station is a great college town. All of TD bangs on the Aggies, I get it for fun, but the place is clean and safe as can be. How LSU is not on that list, given what went on this past football season, is beyond me. Just ask yourself, if you've been to both B.R. and College Station, which city would you rather your kids live in, it's a pretty easy answer.

Great day for America

The fisherman got his due process, a double dipper for the progressive filth.
I was 10, and was so nervous the entire game. I remember I ate two entire bags (large) of Tom's Jalapeno chips during the game. It was the greatest sporting event I ever watched and can remember it like it was yesterday.

from Dirk Dawgler's post above, my sentiments EXACTLY !

I wasn’t even a hockey fan but it was America vs. The Soviet Union and I kept hearing we had no chance. I remember the last 10 minutes of that game being anxiety and rapid heart rate for me. Just hold on! Just hold on! I will never forget the final seconds. The crowd chanting, the flags, Michael’s forever call with 6 seconds left.
Winning #1, but bringing these uniforms back is a close second

had one of the best hats in the business

Go to hell trader

I hate Trader Joe's too.

The hate Duplantis gets b/c he chose to become a multi millionaire and the most popular track and field star in the world is ridiculous. He made the move that was financially in his best interest. His mother is Swedish, so is his fiance', so quit the bitching about being a "trader" (traitor).

Outlaws BBQ was pretty good when we ate there last year.
I remember as a kid when I couldn't wait to stay at my grandmother's b/c she was going to cook these masterpieces for us

LSU broke out some blacks in late 90's. At first I didn't like them but they grew on me.

the black hat became a favorite of mine (made by Top of the World)

ETA: oh and the “fried rabbit” which they finally re-labeled to chicken

I thought I heard they lost their rabbit supplier sometime during covid or shortly after ? They did serve rabbit for many years, but it was very expensive for something chicken could replace with nearly the same taste when fried IMO. Everyone dipped it in the cheese dip anyway.

Vallarta Mexican Grill is also good

It really is better than all of the other Tex/Mex spots around. People are finding out about it and it is starting to get packed quickly.

If you grew up here and are over 55 now, there was only one place to go for an adult Mexican dinner with friends and no kids on a Friday night. For years and and least until the original owners sold it, it was the only restaurant where most of the waiters memorized your order and didn’t have to write it down and they always got it right and if you went fairly regularly you could have a house account. Best people watching place in town and reasonably priced. Loud and boisterous and hot ladies dressed to kill talking loud after the signature drinks. The glory days of Lafayette. A lot like Houston in the oilfield glory days.

La Fonda gets a lot of hate but it's consistent. Still make the best original nachos

and the super nacho
