Family vacay to the beach 6 days 5 nights about $8K total.

Only went out to eat one night. Made all other meals at the condo.

Beach front Florabama area.

3 beds 2 baths.

Note: We skipped 30A this year which would have been 2X or 3X more expensive and had just as nice a time in fact even better without all the wristbands required to get on the beach and long walks back to the house.

About to take a week long vacation to Utah.
I think it cost around 7k.

That number may float depending if we splurge for a steak dinner and some shopping.

Family of 4

Turks and Caicos - 6 nights - It wasn't cheap

Orange Beach - 4 nights - Shared condo with friends and it was a lot cheaper than Turks

Does anyone here in this thread complain they can’t afford a house, gas, or groceries?

If so, might want to check yourself.

But ohhhhhh, you deserve it.

I’m not really sure yet. Went to Chicago for 5 days and heading to the Bahamas for a week.

family of 4 in Sandestin. Around 5k for the week plus food and alcohol. Took our daugther for her first birthday. Seems excessive for a 1 year old but truthfully it wsa for me and the wife. Paid for my parents to come with so we'd have an extra set of eyes and the chance to go out a couple nights for "date night".

No big vacation this summer.

Spent a few days down shore and then we went up to NH where we probably spent about $500 for 3 days on food and activities. We drove up and stayed at a friend's beach house. Let's say $1k on various smaller activities/daytrips.

We have another 3-day trip up to Bear Mtn State Park and 3 days in NYC over Christmas. NYC will be brutal for 3 days, it's like $2k on the hotel alone

I wasn't going to mention I could spend 5 months hiking all 2200 miles of the Appalachian Trail for that amount of money.

About 4k for a week vacation. Wife is thrifty so that helps. Otherwise I could have easily dropped 8k

Arizona for a week, maybe $3k.
Montana for a week, maybe $2500.

But that is just for me and my son, and we spent a lot of time with family there. Worth every penny.

Didn't take a summer vacation. But took the family to Helen Georgia in early May. Not too expensive and had a great time.
