Most underrated of the natives in my opinion...

You have a local nursery you use? Have you visited Allen Acres BNB?

I don't currently have Texas Sage, but I am going to add that to my garden next year. I think I am actually going to convert a 3 x 12 raised bed to a native plant/butterfly garden next year (mostly natives at least). It's along a fence and gets a little more shade than I like and has never been highly productive for peppers.

I thought the judge ruled this week that Title IX didn't apply to the NCAA because they don't receive federal funding?

Seems like they would look at cutting sports programs before considering this option.

I thought things like that only happened at South Carolina baseball games.

Is anyone else tired of the nonstop coverage of this case? I was able to watch the news for 11 minutes this morning before I heard anything about this case. I think that's some kind of record over the last couple of months.

I guess he wants everyone paying more for ESPN.

My turks cap is in pots as well.

One thing I have tried to grow for a few years and not had success with is jewelweed. I have a nice bog area that I thought it would grow well in, but I just have not been able to get the seed to germinate even after keeping in the fridge all winter.

Help me understand this. My understanding is this is they universities have many of the women's sports to begin with, does this mean we are going to see universities starting to remove women sports?

Why you should not hang lights etc on your palm trees.

if you want foolproof, maintenance free, beautiful flowers zinnias are hard to beat. They germinate easily from seed, bloom profusely and will reseed if you let them.

Otherwise I will stay on my native wildflowers soapbox and suggest the following

American basket flower
Indian blanket
Lanceleaf coreopsis
Mexican hat
Black eyed susan
purple coneflower
Cowpen daisy
native hibiscus

This.
I will add that my turks cap and Salvia are doing great. I have more salvia than anything and I don't expect that will change.
