I hear this trope every year now.
Yeah Michigan won recently with a Miles like offense but they also cheated and knew the opponents calls.

Additionally Miles offenses sucked because they could never play complimentary football. They could pound the rock but could never back off the LBs and safeties with passing because out QBs were inept and the system was not favorable to them.

1D offenses usually suffer, in every iteration across the country. You need variability.
Bro was a bum.
We gave him more than enough leash too and kid fricked it up.

Nothing mid about these yams

This is such a massive deal for the US and our interests.

This could be Trumps gift to us that keeps on giving for decades to come.

We have a chance to slash OPEC influence on the market, hold more leverage over China and Russia, produce closer to home, potentially reduce positions in ME….

Not to mention the future of O&G pricing on the home front. This has potential to keep energy affordable for CONUS for decades and allow for massive expansions under US umbrella.

Not to be hyperbolic, but outside of shutting the border down, this may be Trumps biggest win.
Torn on this.
We need less ghetto influence on LSU these days. Not more.
He is in a lose/lose.
He has to or Chambliss goes away and they lose more potential playoff teams and money.

He should have kept his mouth shut from the beginning.
Oh boy are the African pirates licking their chops now

Wonder if he was obligated to post that by contract.

Can’t see DP not paying him a large sum of money to do their ad and promotion.
Was anybody on their 2023 team in prior legal engagements over eligibility?

Apples and oranges
I think this actually goes the other way than you are concerned about.

They “snub” LSU at the 10 or 11 seed and leave us out.

Lawyers representing these 2022 kids will then file suit that they colluded to damage their clients earning potential in the playoffs.

It takes one sympathetic judge to blast the CFP into orbit with damages in this scenario.

I think CFP would be actually very cautious and include LSU to not have that scenario even be possible.
And in essence giving Jayden the middle finger. Good for him and the team.

Nice change of pace from all the lawyer speak.

Yikes.
Hopefully no foul play and is just a utilities accident or something.

Lane is simply the lightning rod in this.
I appreciate how he seems to give less than zero F’s about the media and how it’s being portrayed.

He is doing what is best for LSU in a landscape that changes by the minute.

BK would have never done that as he would have been golfing. I am grateful we have a coach who is obsessed with winning and will be a menace to the system.
So then we would get to go the Indy route like ND and have a complete farce of a schedule and be in the playoffs every single year.

Not the worst thing that could happen…

What does that even mean? You think musk gives a frick about college football?

Particularly no, but he is the richest man on the planet and one of the most influential people to ever live… and just finalized a deal with Landry, so not a bad man to have in your corner if you needed to call in a favor.
Well Sankey needs to remember who LSU has as well. We have a direct line to Trump and Musk via Landry.

To say 4 aces may be true but LSU has friends in high places as well.

He’s one that actually will help in the starting lineup immediately.

The others are all depth
So same situation as Formosa correct?
If so, this is why Louisiana never moved forward. We have companies at the door willing to bring massive investment and we frick it up.
Whatever at this point.
If they do this and we have to back away from these players then so be it.

But if Texas or Missouri or any other teams get to keep their players on some stupid technicality.. then F that.

This whole thing feels very punitive towards LSU only when other schools are participating as well.
Okay?
If they go to college they can’t play that season in the NFL? Isn’t that the point of their decision?

If they are saying this precludes them from ever going to the NFL then that’s a different discussion
