 my instructor said to stop booking lessons so closely together before I got injured

Why am I getting downvoted? It’s the greatest game on Earth!
So I took up golf on March 27th of this year. I have several friends groups who were trying to get me playing over the last several years and finally I succumbed. A buddy let me borrow his clubs. I signed up for lessons at age 40.

What fun! Hit a ball with a stick.

And then I started making contact that actually went forward and straight. I played my first round of golf on May 2nd and shot 64, but didn’t slow others down and had the best time hanging with guys, smoking a cigar on the course, and having fun.

Then I got serious. I shot 54 a few weeks later on the same course on the same nine I played when I first when out there. And then it caught me. Chasing that feeling. Last Saturday I played 18 and shot 100. If it weren’t for a whiff I would have hit 99.

I have intercostal strain in my rib cage and can’t swing a club for another month with 10-11 weeks of full gas until I can go again.

So I ordered a Prime Putt putting mat and have Zen Golf and Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect to read in the meantime.

I’m starting BPC 157/TB-500 to heal faster and doing PT to get back out there.

What is it about this game that has hooked you? All it is is hitting a ball with a stick. But it’s so much more than that. It’s the greatest game there is!
Cool stuff right here

Sorry there are such big douchebags on this once great sight

I second Lioncore. I know the owner personally and he’s a good guy who just wants to help people. He also includes the bacteriostatic water and several insulin needles with each order. Also his prices are really good compared to what is out there

I just ordered from Lioncore based on your post.
I’m starting BPC-157 and TB-500 on Tuesday

What's the reviews on Lioncore
I don’t know what to say. I was playing through some minor rib cage pain and it kept getting progressively worse. On Saturday when I hit day 90 and shot 100 it was incredibly painful. Sunday I sneezed and it felt like my world caved in. X-Ray ruled out a break. PT said 4-6 weeks until I swing a golf club and 8-12 before it’s fully healed.

I bought a Prime Putt putting mat to work on something during this time. Fiancée bought me “Golf Is Not A Game of Perfect” and I already have Zen Golf.

It’s a huge blow. I am head over heels in love with this game and now I can only putt. But I will say-I’ll become the best damn putter inside 8 feet I can possibly become in this time frame.
I don’t think cgrand is Billy Strings, my guy

I bought a Scotty Cameron for $550 and it sucked. But it’s ABSOLUTELY worth its weight in gold on the greens.
It would be for intercostal strain, not a broken bone.
I have intercostal strain on my left rib cage after playing golf a lot. X-Ray showed no bone break or issues with lungs. Going to PCP this morning. Sneezing feels like when I had a broken rib. Can’t swing a golf club.

Will BPC-157 be beneficial?

I just shot 100

I’m on cloud nine.

I’m 90 days in today and shot 100. Feels like I won the Masters  Got eaten up the last two times I played to the point where I stopped keeping score and picked up to avoid slowing others down. Today is my best golf day yet. Thank y’all for the motivation.
