I’m probably 3 if I had to guess at 45.

I need one of these gifs that says I’m not in the red no more

Just when 1 comes back into the green one goes red
:banghead:

I’m holding long term so I guess it really does not matter.
I like them big. I’ve got a 75 in living room, 65 master bedroom, 55 upstairs man cave, 55 outside(will upgrade to 75), 55’s in spare bedrooms, and projector in theater room.
I used that as my teams background during Covid.

This series is hard to watch because it's real and in each case authorities were constantly notified for help and never did anything material to prevent such tragic outcomes.

I’m taking matters into my own hands if someone keeps harassing me and throwing rocks through my windows.

28 times is fricking absurd.
That’s super nice! That’s the year I graduated high school.

That sucks. I always liked him.

I’m about to give it a shot.

Little early morning bird hunt and some football :nana:
Never really watched him before because I quit watching a lot of fights over the years but won’t miss one of his now.

Even if you count the employer match AND your Medicare taxes, your math is completely full of it. You’re 59. That means you started working in 1983. If we look at the absolute Maximum Total FICA Tax (Social Security + Medicare + Employer Match) a person could legally pay in the 1980s and 1990s, it was tiny. In 1983, the absolute max total FICA tax anyone could pay (combining both you and your employer) was $4,783 for the entire year. In 1990, it was $11,848. In 1995, it was $14,352. Even if you were somehow a 16-year-old CEO making six figures in 1983, and you maxed out every single year of your life for 43 years, your combined Social Security totals only hit about $490,000 today. And since we know you weren't hitting the absolute maximum wage cap as a teenager in 1983, your real Social Security track isn't anywhere close to that. You are misreading an estimated projection or a grand total, because the actual tax caps from 1983 to 2005 literally don't allow the math to add up to $500k. Quit making up numbers.

I’m close to 400k at 45 between my contributions and employer for Medicare and Social security. Wife is right there with me. Didn’t start maxing until 2014.

I’m not sure why that’s a big deal. 1st thing I do is put a TV above the fire place.

Nobody wants to look at a smaller TV to the left or right of the mantel.

Question for the board… I donated blood today and they mentioned doing a “double red” donation instead of whole blood. It takes longer on the day-of, but I don’t have to come in for another 16 weeks (vs 8 weeks with whole blood). Anyone here gone this route?

I don’t remember what I did when I donated but I was just out of the green. Haven’t been back in 6 months and was still in the green when I got my bloodwork done last week.

If they have a cow elk for the taking that would be my vote, lots of meat and better than any of the others mentioned in my opinion anyway.

I haven’t had elk in a long time so I don’t even remember what it taste like. I hear sika is similar to elk.

Nilgai cows are much easier to kill than Nilgai bulls. They have much thinner skin and easier to clean also. 6.5 PRC,.308, .270, 7 mag are all fine for cows. I use a .300 win mag with a good bullet and shoot until they drop

I keep my freezer stocked with axis and nilgai at the house and whitetail for camp meat at my ranch. Both axis and nilgai are better than whitetail so you’d be happy with both. Good sized nilgai cow should be over 300 lbs so a good bit bigger than an axis doe.

I’ve seen a ton of wild shite at my ranch and my lease in the Hill Country. I haven’t shot them all just axis and nilgai. Trying to build up the population of Sika and Fallow at the lease currently but the fallow will be tough because I’ve only got 2 hanging around. Got a good amount and growing population of sika deer currently.

Makes sense, but the swamp won't like their SS Trust Fund blue light special borrowing scheme taken from them. That would be nice. I’ve been capped at 6% for the last 12 years so I can’t take advantage of the $24,500 cap of 401k. 12% would be awesome but something would have to give. I’ve got a 4% raise every year for the last 12 years outside of the 1st year of covid when they froze salary’s. They also match me for the first 5 to 6 percent in my 401k depending on profits.
