Similar to pizza chains, it just depends on the location closest to you. I was a Home Depot guy at my first house but have turned into a Lowes guy after moving last year.

Think of it as like a Mercedes vs a Toyota Corolla. Both will get you where you want to go (maybe). One brand can charge a premium. The other has to sell it cheap to attract customers.

The one that charges a premium in your example is more likely to be the one not running and more expensive to fix. A Corolla is exponentially more reliable than a Mercedes.

Also, go back to my superiority complex comment from this afternoon. This arse hole thinks Auburn is a Mercedes  get the frick out of here. The difference is about as big as king ranch vs a platinum f150.

Absolutely. Like I said, Bama pays the better applicants to come, and Auburn mostly makes those same high profile applicants pay full price. There's enough demand for Auburn to be able to do that.

I don’t think this is the flex you think it is. Sounds like you’re poor if anything.

I know for a fact there are countless kids from OTM schools to end up at Bama because they didn't get accepted to Auburn... but we'll just leave that there.

I know plenty of Auburn grads who have students in Tuscaloosa because they got more scholarship money…..but we’ll just leave that there. Some even posted it in a recent thread about school rankings.

For the most recent data, Minor High School sent 11 to Bama and 2 to Auburn.... see, yall got us there. Congrats.

did you get that from AI or do you have an actual link to that?
I keep hearing this psychosis defense which may be true but doesnt excuse the overwhelming support shes getting. Chris Benoit had mush for brains CTE and killed his wife and kid - absolutely 0 support from anywhere.
surpringsly undergrad business is close but gradudate school isnt close

Thank you for outting yourself on using AI for all of these numbers. Credibility of any statistic in this thread sank harder and futher than post Gus auburn football.
All of your stats are questionable at best.

If you look at the Top 20 largest Alabama companies by revenue, Auburn graduates hold the CEO positions in 9 of them: #4 Brasfield & Gorrie ($7.7B) #8 Blue Cross & Blue Shield of AL ($$4.1B) #9 McWane Inc ($3.4B) #11 Drummond Co. ($3.3B) #14 Robins & Morton ($2.2B) #15 Alfa Insurance ($2.2B) #16 Caddell Construction ($1.6B) #17 BL Harbert Intl. ($1.6B) #18 Hoar Construction ($1.5B)

Decided to fact check and picked Drummond on a whim and found this.

So what else are you wrong about?
The superiority complex out of Auburn is so fascinating to see sometimes. Unless you’re in engineering or building science it really does not matter.
family of 4 in Sandestin. Around 5k for the week plus food and alcohol. Took our daugther for her first birthday. Seems excessive for a 1 year old but truthfully it wsa for me and the wife. Paid for my parents to come with so we'd have an extra set of eyes and the chance to go out a couple nights for "date night".
W will join his dad in hell one day and answer for crimes against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As far as Iran goes, only time will tell.

I would be looking into moving to Highland Park (the closer to the golf course generally the better), Forest Park, or South Avondale. I would not be caught dead living that close to city center.
They went to the same little private school outside of Jackson, MS. My dad was a year older than my mom and the night my mom graduated, they had an after party at The Dock on the reservoir in Ridgeland. My dad had some friends who had just graduated so he decided to go that night as well. Somehow managed to get my moms number and called her the next week to go to Swensen's for a date.
I dont care for their newer stuff, but their EP called Step 2 Rhythm is a great listen.
far be it from me as I am not an expert here, but it could be the difference int the heel toe drop between the two shoes. About two months ago i went from the Clifton 9 to the Brooks Ghost 18. They wrecked me for a short bit during the break in period. Not sure of the specifics of the heel toe drops if your shoes but may be something to consider.

I mean Flock is serving a two pronged process its helping police catch the bad guys and it also getting crooked cops fired who abuse it. Shouldn't that be what we want? To get rid of all the bad apples in policing? I bet there have been over 50 officers fired here in Georgia alone this year over misuse/abuse of Flock privileges.

Help me understand this better.

I don't know how to explain you love dragnet style continuous surveillance that totally isn't being used in nefarious ways at all. yeah the government would totally never use those, especially if they try and pull a covid type event again and tell everybody to stay home. yeah they would totally never ever do that.

re: Cremation or Burial?

Cremation. There is a cemetery close by to us, which is also by Oak Mountain State Park, that has a cremation garden overlooking a large pond. I told my wife to burn me up, put the urn in a hole, and put a bench on my little spot overlooking the water.
When I was in high school I had an odd resemblance to Jason Biggs. Had to look him up now and we do not resemble each other anymore. Having glasses and a mustache isn't helping that cause either.

The Alabama governors race says hold my beer. AL GOP has a high chance of FAFO-ing AGAIN by putting up a steaming pile of shite vs Doug Jones. See Roy Moore v Doug Jones. People are waking up to Tubbs and what Israeli, i mean is really, going on.
BBC post game comments

friggin oof, Iraola said that his side played a good first 30 minutes but "they don't have much more, in terms of the levels required to play like this".

Pretty telling on what Slot was (or wasnt doing) in training. Also makes sense on why they looked absolutely gassed in the last stages of a lot of games.
