Udderly true.
Follow up question: Best safety tips?

I'm also back on the bike after a long layoff.

I follow taffic rules, wear a helmet and visible clothing, light my bike at night, have reflective tires, and don't wear earbuds.

I also assume that 90 percent of drives cannot see me, and the other 10% are trying to kill me.

I'm a lot older now, and I really don't want to end up dead or in the ER, but biking is the only excercise I enjoy.
Thank you Will Cover for the detailed list of questions for an HVAC contractor. Looking forward to that conversation.

I have a much narrower question. I have an old home in New Orleans with a large attic. The A/C duct work has been patched and it in poor shape. I am losing a lot of cooling, and I want to replace the ducts. The total square footage of the home is about 1600 feet.

Can anybody give me some advice on materials. contractors, price, etc.?

Any help appreciated.

You do know i have?

I’ve worked my way up. Im just trying to gauge the level of inherited wealth around me.

Been in France a while. A little homesick.
It’s a rock beach, baw. And it’s grey.

Guess you already know what you sound like.

Yes. I’m now being audited by the IRS

The only thing I want to hear from the IRS is “thank you.”

Man no offense but I honestly feel for folks that would consider $5k a significant inheritance. I’ll count my blessings.

It wouldn’t be for me. Now. But it would have in the past.

I’m just wondering how many are (like me) at zero when it comes to inherited wealth. That’s why I set it low. Probably could have phrased it better.
Laugh if you will.

I’m on a balcony on the Côte d’Azur overlooking the Med and sipping a beautiful Chablis that room service brought up.

But there was a time when $5k would have meant a hell of a lot to me.

We talking like $50k or millions?

I was talking about few thousand. Say enough for a nice vacation.

I’ll drink to that!

Define "significant".

Say $5,000 or more.
The retirement discussion got me thinking about it.

Personally, I haven’t and won’t. My kids did get some from their mother’s family, enough for a down payment on a house. I’m glad for them.

How about y’all?

Are you saying people who paid into it for 40 years shouldn't get some back?

I plan to get screwed, and I’ve paid in for over 50 years, 40 of those at the max.
