Or was the plane actually shot down by the government?

I want to believe the passengers pulled it off.

I also think it is possible a missile and cover story was involved.

Considering there are several phone calls which recorded what all transpired on Flight 93….

If it were blasted out of the sky it would’ve left a debris field and not a hole in the ground, right?

I believe that the passengers did overpower them. If it was a missile, there would be lots and lots of evidence.

I did seem Like a smallish debris field so I fan but that it was flown in the ground mostly intact and at a relatively steep angle.

I don’t know what I believe. Both scenarios are plausible and I don’t think the government wouod tell us if they shot it down.

Cockpits weren't fortified until after 9/11. There's countless recordings of the passengers showing they were aware of the other planes and were planning to rush the cabin.

Next conspiracy.

Lisa Beamer is actually a navy seal. She wrote a book and has been on a lot of podcasts so the evidence points to it.

The actual Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, is inconsistent with a typical mid-air shoot-down by a missile or fighter gunfire, and consistent with a high-speed, near-vertical impact of an intact (or largely intact) airliner under power. What the actual site looked likeA large impact crater roughly 30–40 feet deep and 50–100+ feet across in soft soil, with the main wreckage concentrated in and around that crater.

Debris field primarily localized: heavy pieces (engines, landing gear, structural sections) buried or scattered relatively near the crater; lighter materials blown outward by the force of impact and fire.

No long, linear debris trail of the kind expected from progressive mid-air breakup.
Extensive ground scarring and a fireball/explosion on impact; remains were highly fragmented.

Official investigations (NTSB, FBI, 9/11 Commission) documented cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder evidence of a struggle in the cockpit, followed by a steep descent and impact. No evidence of missile fragments, radar tracks of interceptors firing, or air-burst debris patterns was found.

How a shoot-down site typically differsA plane destroyed by a missile (or sustained gunfire) in flight usually produces a different pattern:Mid-air structural failure: The aircraft breaks up at altitude. Heavy components (engines, wing sections, fuselage pieces) separate and fall along a longer, more linear or dispersed path under their own trajectories.

You often see multiple distinct impact points or a trail of wreckage stretched over hundreds of yards to miles, depending on altitude and speed at the moment of destruction.

Air-burst or progressive disintegration evidence: Lighter debris (cabin interior, control surfaces, skin panels) can be scattered over a wide area downwind. Witnesses or radar often record falling pieces before the main mass hits the ground.
Warhead or projectile signatures: Missile impacts leave characteristic fragmentation, scorched/penetrated metal with high-velocity puncture patterns, or residual explosive residue. Gunfire produces discrete entry/exit holes and ballistic damage.

Less concentrated cratering from a single intact mass: If the airframe is already in pieces, the ground impact is of discrete large fragments rather than one coherent high-kinetic-energy mass punching a deep primary crater and vaporizing much of the lighter structure in a fireball.

These patterns have been documented in known shoot-downs (e.g., military aircraft losses, civil cases such as certain historical incidents with confirmed missile damage).

The degree of scatter depends on altitude, speed, and whether the aircraft remained controllable long enough to dive or spiral. Why the hypothetical does not match the observed siteA shoot-down that left the aircraft largely intact until ground impact would require the missile/gunfire to disable the aircraft without causing major structural separation—possible in principle but rare and usually accompanied by other forensic traces (missile debris, radar evidence of the engagement, distinct damage morphology on recovered parts).

No such traces were reported in the official recovery and analysis of Flight 93. The concentrated crater, limited linear scatter, and flight-recorder data of a controlled (then uncontrolled) high-speed dive after the cockpit struggle align with the official account of the plane remaining essentially whole until it hit the ground at high speed and steep angle. In short: a classic mid-air shoot-down tends to produce a more dispersed, multi-point debris field with progressive breakup signatures.

The Shanksville site shows the opposite—highly localized, high-energy impact of a largely intact aircraft—matching the recorded final flight path rather than an air-burst destruction.

The passengers were about to take it back but the terrorist flying the plane crashed it.

I’ll just say that I don’t know and don’t believe we’d be told if they were.

I do not believe they were going to allow that plane to enter DC airspace and 80 airline miles is about as close as you can get to the DC metroplex without it crashing in a populated area so it’s entirely possible.

And no, a sidewinder missile wouldn’t necessarily cause tons of damage like people think it would if it hit a wing or tail fin.

On the flip side the planes that scrambled that day seemed to be disorganized to a degree that most of them didn’t even have missiles armed to shoot it down if they wanted to. So absent using guns or ramming the airliner could they have even taken it down absent a ground launched missile? Unclear.

So I don’t know for sure if it was shot down but I understand if they did because it would’ve killed far more people if it didn’t go down where it did.

Unfortunately those passengers were dead the moment the terrorists took over the cockpit. There was no last minute list of demands coming, just a question of what group of people were going to be killed when it crashed into something in downtown DC.

I think there is enough evidence to show the passengers tried to take the plane back.

But, the plane gets any closer to urban areas especially DC. Then it needed to be shot down before that can happen.

I believe the passengers tried and during the struggle plane went into a dive and crashed. But I believe we were close to it being intercepted. I think the call was made to shoot it down but the people averted that.

Considering there is evidence of the former, why would you not believe they overtook it? And let's say for a second that it was shot down, we have very clear evidence that they fought back to overtake the plane anyway.

But don't we have audio from the cockpit where you can literally hear them fighting and taking over and then it ends in the crash?

Those people are heroes and saved (most likely) the White House and countless lives that day.

My question is....

How were people.aware of what happened?

Were there satellite news, phones, and internet available at 30,000 feet ?

Phones on the planes and people had cell phones as well.
