55 men signed the Declaration of Independence.

9 died directly or indirectly during the war.

17 had their home burned.

5 were captured.

We should all be thankful for what they sacrificed.
Proud to have him as president and glad he’s made this such a celebration and spectacle.
Not going anti any American tonight who is actively celebrating 250, but agree 100% with your initial post.
One fought at brandywine, another died of sickness during the winter.

One of the biggest arse beatings I have ever seen. It could have been so, so, so much worse than 49-7.

I was legitimately concerned for the safety of the Michigan State team that day.

That was one of the if not the single most motivated non playoff bowl performances I’ve ever seen.

September 23, 2006. 3573 days since Arkansas beat Alabama

Was at that game.

That era of Arkansas teams were tough.

Like the 250th anniversary seems to be barely a bigger deal than the 249th or 248th anniversary.

Where I live it’s a pretty big deal.
I believe a defensive strategy to bleed the north out while empowering raids and guerrilla tactics behind union lines was the only viable path for the South.

There’s nothing to admire about Lees strategy in the Gettysburg campaign and it’s kind of unforgivable unless you think he saw Vicksburg about to fall and just wanted to take one final swing for the fences regardless of the odds.

He intentionally decentralized his army while having virtually no intel on the enemy and managed to put his troops in the worst possible position at nearly every turn.

Lee was brilliant, but this campaign was either an overconfident or desperate gambit.

You know he still thinks about it

I bet she taught him some things he enjoyed learning.

Why the focus there? What about the Armenians and Nigerians?

No need to stop there at all, what’s happening to the Nigerian Christians is genocide and I’ve hoped Trump would get involved.
I agree with you.

I also hope we can start to unify to defend the tragic destruction of Christian enclaves and Christians at large in the holy lands.

What happening to some of those churches is absolutely tragic.
Thankful every day I live in FL where this stuff is celebrated instead of attacked.

re: USAID was making rap popular

Billy Corgan has spoken about this quite a bit. Not the USAid component, but the intentional promotion of the hip hop garbage and the demotion of better selling, more popular rock.

Someone killed rock music.

There were still tons of popular bands and then MTV and the radio stopped playing them and the record studios stopped promoting them.

Also think about the attacks that the popular rock bands of that post grunge era got. All the sudden bands like Creed and Nickleback went from headlining tours and having top selling CDs to being national punchlines.

Who pushed that narrative? Whether you liked them or not somehow the message that got amplified was rock wasn’t cool and rap was everywhere before bro country and Taylor Swift took Nashville into mainstream pop.
Again, the question is who makes the other schools money by drawing tv ratings for espn and Fox.

Cultural fit and everything else you mentioned is secondary or Clemson and FSU would’ve had SEC invites long ago.
It’s 100% clear large elements of the federal government went rogue and cut the president out of the chain of command in the period leading up to J6.

That includes the pentagon (Milley, etc) which means the actual insurrection was on behalf of the deep state/IC/military against Trump and his supporters.
Unfortunately adding OK ST and TCU would reduce revenue share from the TV contracts which is what this is really all about.

If T Boone were still around yall would be dominating NIL, it’s a damn shame he died when he did because you could be on a Texas Tech level recruiting heater right now. But it also highlights the risks associated with being so dependent on one major booster.

I hate weak men like you. I mean truly despise.

You truly despise the rules of Jesus from the New Testament, got it.

Your issue is with Christianity, you’ll have a chance to take it up with Jesus when you die. Or not, guess we will all find out.

What an odd excuse. Men make laws. We decide what laws are.

No in the US you aren’t allowed to kill people for non capital offenses. Unless the USSC changes it the federal courts won’t allow what you’re proposing.

I get that you probably aren’t aware of that but by all means continue your indignant rant.

......Someone should check your hard drive....

Check whatever you want I’ve already made clear that absent Jesus telling me not to put these animals down I would agree with you.

But if you believe the New Testament killing them is as off limits as is most of the stuff the left wants to do like gay marriage and drag queen hour at the local school.
Step 1) water the crap out of it until it’s established
Step 2) fertilize as directed with 15-0-15 or 24-0-12 to start to thicken it
Step 3) come fall spot treat and the combination of healthy zoysia and some spot spray indicated for the weeds you have will knock it all out by next season

I really wouldn’t even sweat it with zoysia outside of torpedo grass, just don’t jump the gun before it’s established.
