So, you’re saying that since he was racist, it was ok for him to be stabbed to death?

No. Misunderstood the context. Went back and edited my post. Sorry about the mixup.

Couldn’t agree more.

But you know how this goes. If any of this is valid the media, social media, and certain segment of the population will now say his murder was justified.

Right.

I think Bestbank makes a good point that the defense would've painted Austin as a racist, aggressive meat head if this stuff were allowed. The documents being released now are a good example of why prejudicial information isn't allowed in the trial a lot of the time.

Zero of that shows Austin did anything to be murdered by Anthony or anything to Anthony beyond what the eye witnesses testified to in court. There was zero actual proof Anthony was bullied or ganged up on or made to fear for his life, and that hasn’t changed at all.

Trying to inflame racial tensions and play the race card was all the defense had and has. An actual grand wizard of the kkk could have been standing in front of Anthony telling him that he needed to leave that school’s area just like Austin did, and Anthony stabbing him in the heart would have been murder just the same.

Anthony’s past as the murderer would have been more relevant if prosecution needed to actually prove that Anthony intended to cause serious bodily injury to Austin and committed an act clearly dangerous to human life that caused the death of Austin. They did not. With zero self defense claim Anthony admitted to committing murder as a 1st degree felony in Texas.

He could have quite literally been Hitler reincarnate and it would change absolutely nothing about the case. In the US, you can’t do premeditated stabbings no matter who the other person is.

I don't think he did any of that because we are the same race. Am I doing this correctly?

After hearing Metcalf's and Anthony's parents speak, none of this or the stuff coming about Anthony is all that surprising

So both of these kids were pieces of shite?

Wasn't that known the first time around? Two assclowns ran into each other and one ended up dead. Doesn't make murder ok, though.

None of that legally excuses using a deadly weapon against him when he wasn’t a lethal threat.

How is any of that relevant to the trial?
Its not, but it does make me slightly less sad about it all?

Maybe that makes me a horrible person but when I see juvenile detention kids /criminals get killed it is easier to take

They were already saying it was justified because he reached for Karmelo's shoulder .75 seconds before being stabbed.

KA’s defense is betting on people finding out that Metcalf being a hothead with some racist tendencies is going to sway public opinion.

Well a lot of people already believe that the simple act of Metcalf "putting his hands" on Anthony is a murderable offense, so this will only fuel their fire.

So Metcalf is no longer a kid that didn't deserve to be murdered, he's a white trash dirtbag that didn't deserve to be murdered.

Turns out he's a typical kid the OT would think is fine being out of society anyway.

Social media and AI will be the downfall of society. I don’t care if he called him the N word to his face, that doesn’t give someone the right to murder someone.

Austin Metcalf and his brother Hunter were once caught spray painting graffiti including "KKK kill all blacks" and "Heil Hitler" along with the N-word and were sentenced to 12 months of juvenile probation.

There are several documented instances of Austin using racial slurs in school and in 2023

Austin was accused of bullying a black student in class.
sounds like he was a victim of systematic racism in America.

I misread the OP.

There’s stuff coming out at the same time that makes Karmelo look even worse. A fascination with knives. Stalking an ex-GF. A text the morning of the murder stating that he was “low-key on the edge”.

I spray painted under bridges and behind buildings when I was in middle school. Used some of those same phrases and others. Didn't mean them or believe them. They were just edgy and bad and I was stupid.

Doesn't matter. None of this matters.

This is stupid.

Doesn't change what happened under that tent.

Now it's coming out that the attorneys almost got in a fight in judges chambers.

Clown show.
