Thinking About A Boudin Run

I'm thinking about doing a boudin run in the near future. Really any Cajun specialties.
Anyone have any "must try/have" suggestions?

Kartchners in Scott, LA off Exit 97
Get a link of boudin cut in thirds, a quarter/half lb of chicken cracklin, a pepper jack boudin ball or jalapeño cream cheese boudin ball, and their maple boudin wrap.

They also have an amazing frozen boudin dip and hog head cheese, highly recommend both. But there aint much they sell that aint pretty good so, cant go wrong with anything.

Kertchner’s in Scott has the maple roll up.
Billy’s has the breakfast roll up and the red bean ball.
Jerry Lee’s has elite hogs head cheese.
Bergeron’s in Port Allen has these incredible smoked chicken patties.
Ronnie’s has chicken cracklins that are really good.

Better off going during the week. I was surprised at how many of these boudin places were closed on a Saturday.

If you hit Nonc Kevs in Rayne, try a Steens and Boudin egg roll.
You can always pop into Rabideauxs if you make it all the way to Iowa. Grab some smoked sausage while you’re there. It may be the best and or maybe on par with Teets.
I’m not sure if it’s still good or not…. The Mowata store “just north” of Crowley used to be good too.

If you just looking to roder for a day, Billeaud's in Broussard continues to be my #1 boudin and is worth one of your stops.

I'm fond of Juneau's in Marksville for boudin. I've had it from Kelone's by the tracks and Durand's market by the Post Office in Mansura but prefer Juneau's.

Still excellent.. and you can fill up your ice chest with very good smoked pork sausage, tasso, smoked breakfast links, meatballs and stuffed chickens.
