It would have to be for something before and/or after the time period covered by his pardon.

Right or Wong.
If it's for a stock, they're good for that. If you need a bunch of crab meat, they're probably too small.

Crabs that are kind of small to keep for boiled crabs but OK to put in halves in seafood gumbo are "gumbo crabs." They're mostly for seasoning in seafood gumbo.

Of course, the Ump would be named Polyphemus.

One thing that slows down the game is that almost every time somebody reaches base, he calls time to hand off his batting gloves and whatever extra protective equipment he wears (if any) and to sometimes get a base running oven mitt.

If you made it on base with all that stuff and without a special mitt while you were batting, you can go to the next bases while others are batting without a costume change.
Because Texas people don't know anything about crawfish.

But Christianity took root in the Roman Empire, not one of the Hellenistic states. Those were long gone.
They weren't unrelated things. Think about the concept of "Greco-Roman."

Also, Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Greek.
The Empire and so the early Church was largely Latin speaking in the West and Greek speaking in the East.

Ahh, I guess that’s why his conquered lands of Egypt, Turkey, and Persia remain Christian strongholds to this day.
Turkey: Paul of Tarsus, Council of Nicaea, Constantinople...

The heart of the former Byzantine Empire having few Christians today is a result largely of Muslim conquests.
A groyper. Like that little gay Mexican dude?

If she could dance, she could've been a double Golden Girl.
It's an allusion to the Chinese emporers of antiquity.

"Gun" violence
"Youth"
"Young Adults"

Nothing changes when we have to pretend not to understand.
This team can't even find the damn rope.

I played golf today with an Asian couple. The lady wore a mask outside while playing golf.
Why even associate with mask wearing people?

This is the answer no one wants to talk about.
That's not the answer no one wants to talk about.

It couldn’t be more obvious that Trump is just riffing this whole term. His biggest priority so far has been renovating the White House and Washington.
He captured the leader of a foreign country and effectively took control of a former enemy's oil. He reduced illegal border crossings to near zero and vastly ramped up deportations. He launched a massive air and naval war against Iran, an enemy the US has been in conflict with for decades, and even killed its Supreme Leader on day one of the war. (Agree with the war or not, it's obviously significant.)

But he's just renovating the White House. OK.

I’m still trying to figure out how any of this is beneficial to our country
Think about what a strait is. Think about the significance of energy resources in the area and what those resources mean for superpower nations and their militaries. Now think about who needs- really needs - those energy resources. Who is America's adversary? What would if mean if the US effectively controlled that adversary's access to critical energy supplies?

In the same context, think about what happened in Venezuela.

How would you feel about buying Iran's enriched uranium?
