Lane Kiffin Wants Tiger Stadium To Feel Like A Night Game Against Alabama

LSU head coach Lane Kiffin is calling on Tiger fans to bring the energy Saturday when the Tigers host Alabama in a 2:45 p.m. CT kickoff at Tiger Stadium.
During his radio show Thursday night, Kiffin explained how a loud Tiger Stadium crowd could help LSU's defense put pressure on Alabama's offense.
"Well, we saw it in the Clemson game. We saw the stadium come alive and that feeling, and then the defensive line coming alive," Kiffin said. "And I've been on the other side. And it's a real thing."
Kiffin also pointed to Tennessee's home game against Alabama earlier this season as an example of how a loud crowd can impact the Crimson Tide.
"We need it not to matter what time it is. We need that energy," Kiffin said. "As we said, Tennessee set the noise record at the same kickoff time against this team. And it affected them. You could see Alabama, even on the TV copy, you could see them affected by it."
"So we need Tiger Stadium to act like it's at night and bring that same energy. And then we need to rush the passer the same way and put the combination together."
Kickoff between LSU and Alabama is set for 2:45 p.m. CT on ABC.
