Yeh…. I try not to be that guy, but it was bad.

So bad, that the long TD before the half was never shown on replay. Only to be shown during half time. Which showed that the dude bobbled the ball and didn’t make the catch. They showed it once, made a comment and that was it.

Not to mention to overturned LSU grab that got looked at for 35min. Which was a damn catch.

Nothing crazy…. I think that Feliciana’s Best milk products help the most.

Use Louisiana cane sugar, expensive eggs and good booze.

The last 2 years, I’ve kept some for the next year. It’s worth it. Keep some aging in the back of the fridge. It’ll separate some, just shake it every now and then.

I have 4 pints left from last year, plus anything that anyone didn’t touch. I make a couple batches and hand some out to buddies for the holidays.

I use Felicianas Best whole milk, cream and half and half. That’s all I’m telling.

I'm kind of ok with doing this to Walmart seeing how much of their full-time employees have to receive SNAP benefits because Walmart pays them so little.

Walmart is 80-90% part time. You know that going in. You aren’t going to make a living at 20-30 hrs a week.

Find a trade, get educated. Make some money.

That being said…. They could probably offer a significant portion of the staff full time hours, but then they have to pay benefits etc…. There goes those “rollback” prices…
Imaging is the first thing they do.

re: Costco Wagyu brisket

Haven’t tried those yet. However, I cooked a Snake River Farms “black rated” Wagyu alongside a prime 44 Farms Brisket and I can tell you there was an absolute difference in the 2.

Both were fantastic, it’s just a different taste. The 44 Farms was more beefy and the Wagyu more moist and buttery.

$150 shipped for a smaller one from Snake River and about the same shipped for the large prime from 44 farms.
Got a 09’ with 247k.

Water pump, an alternator and a few batteries are what’s been changed other than the regular maintenance stuff. Did the plugs and wires at I think 175k.

I’m pretty sure he’s won a Grammy as a producer.

re: Japanese knives question.

Yeh…. I’d say the same thing. Find local.

You can use chefknivestogo for some info. They have a bunch of japanese bladesmiths that they work with. You can maybe get some ideas…. And or get on their message board.

You can probably get some good info on there. I have a couple knives from their site.
I’ve been fishing shimano curados and citicas for a long time. I have 1 citica and 1 curado that are both over 20yrs old. I just bring them in every so often to get cleaned.

95% of the fishing is inshore for reds and trout.
Go look on on chefknivestogo. Tons a Japanese gyutos etc. They work directly with a lot of the bladesmiths. Tons of info on their message board.

That is if you want an authentic Japanese made knife. I have several from the site.
Ran rampant through those areas in the 90s…

I remember driving through Clarita and seeing the Amish play softball in the field and thinking…. Well that’s different.
Saw them in the rodeo arena at Lamar Dixson…. Opened up for Wyatt Flores, who is very good as well.

The Strays just had a whole different level of energy than Flores did.

I was thinking, I saw these frickers standing in the middle of the arena as an opener…. Not long after they were headlining and playing red rocks.
Another vote for Doris…. Good wine list too
Not sure where you’re staying…. But I bullshitted with the Ol boy who owns Bar-Ly in Chinatown on Monday night while partaking in the Monday night game. Saw my LSU hat and apparently loves it when LSU and Saints fans when they go in.

Has a nice TV set up too. Pretty decent grub and a good enough beer selection. Just don’t go if the Eagles are playing. You have to reserve a table.

We watched the eagles play at McGillins. It’s frickin nuts

Just buy your veges and use a food processor.
It’s still steady…. Have some different dishes from time to time now with the new Chef.

I’d say try the crabmeat gnocchi app. It’s enough for a couple people to try. That’s some good shite. We got it the week the put it on the menu.

The chef won with it at the Fete Rouge deal. Not sure what that entails, but it’s good nonetheless.

Don’t cut your tee time too close…. You have to drive through a winding road through a pine forest for a few miles after you turn off of 49. Can’t speed through there.

Not a great place from a “service” standpoint. Make sure you buy drinks etc from the bar. I have never seen a cart girl out there.

Cool course…. I just think they’ve had some issues with the greens this year…. According to this board.
Appreciate all the info boys!

Went ahead and booked the Marriott Downtown since the conference is there.

Wish we could’ve caught a Phillies game, but they start when we land on Sunday. Then the play away the next few days.
