re: TV experts, will be needing a new TV. Few questions for one in a moderately bright room... - HebertFest08
Glare was a big concern... just from what I read the OLEDs were supposed to be not as bright especially the earlier models. That one I posted is supposed to be relatively bright and better for bright rooms. Papi... you have any issues with viewing angle on the Sony? ...

I’m not paying 3k for a tv, but the LG I listed is about $1600. I can definitely do that. I’ve been pushing this off, but when the wife says it’s time... I need to take advantage... her only request is that it doesn’t cost more than 2k. ...

On your speaker wires make sure you are getting the right type. I had a few issues b/c they sent me bi-wire connections and my Vandys are just a standard type with 2 connections that are spades. I’m sure that McIntosh has any connection you want on the amp with regards to bananas, spades or xlr.....

Phil... Went through this not all that long ago and had to get 10’ of cable. Even 9’ of decent audio quest (rocket 33s) will get you for $300-$400 for regular price speaker cables. I have audio quest king cobra interconnects and the rocket 33s for cable. Think it cost me around $450-$500 or so...

Have some friends that hunt it every year... apparently there is some kind of insane “slot” that has been put into effect. Can’t remember if it started this season or last. They still like going though....

That’s not the same car, same model... but not the same pkg... I checked in Houston. They are near the same price. Not a whole lot of wiggle room on these. Had a contact through my wife that I didn’t realize... got good information and feel comfortable moving forward. ...

I second the quad Vena.... I think a few of us have it. That being said, it alone is near 1k. Although an open box version can be had on music direct for $600. There are some other options, but I’d definitely recommend an integrated amp. Whatever you do, don’t forget the cost of cables and in...
