re: Coffee Pot - built in grinder - HebertFest08
I have had the baratza encore for about a year and my bonavita for probably 4 years. I descale the bonavita every 4-6 months and it works like a top. I use either French truck or cafe citeaux beans here in BR. I can get both of those fresh on a regular basis. I can definitely tell the different ...

re: Wedding Rehearsal Dinner - New Orleans - HebertFest08
Good luck... many will command more $$ for a minimum. That being said maybe not right now with things in the shitter. We got married in NOLA and had about 22 I think.l for the rehearsal dinner. I ran into 5-8k minimums all over the place, again things were “normal”. Ended up at Luke... albe...

re: Recommendations in Gulfport - HebertFest08
I had a pretty solid steak at Fields a couple weeks ago... all the food was good. Wine list is meh at best though. Field had better bring it... cause the Ol boy from ox lot knows what he is doing. He is from that area as well. Although I’m sure you probably already knew that....

That’s a top notch joint. Played a few weeks ago. Greens should be on point by now. It was plush then... I’d imagine with all the rain the last couple of weeks it should be really good....

re: In search of a golden retriever - HebertFest08
Goldens can have a lot of medical issues. You’re more than likely either going to pay for it on the front or back end. Buy one with all the medical clearances and if something major happens you have the breeder to fall back on. That is if you buy from a reputable breeder and not someone’s cousin J...

re: Which Restaurants under the overpass make it after Covid - HebertFest08
Pretty sure Chow Yum Phat is doing pretty well on the “to go” side of things. The same with a place like Southfin. Their menu does well in a “to go” heavy environment. The last couple of times we went to overpass there was a wait and the same with Digulios. Which seems to be one of the only jo...
