Not enjoying the price of everything going up doesn't make someone a democrat.

I didn’t say student performance

Then what performance would you be basing pay off of? How good they look? :pimp:

What does this tell you?

That the majority of Louisiana parents treat school as daycare and don't care about education beyond their kids hopping on a bus and going away for a few hours.

I think the educators in my life would possibly agree to even take a pay cut if they received the ability to remove bad behavior from their classrooms.

Job performance

Only way I would accept a job as a teacher if my pay was tied to student performance would be if schools and teachers were empowered to actually remove bad behavior from their classroom. I would gladly sign a waiver to allow 24/7 recording of the classroom so that parents can see how abhorrent some of their kids' behavior is.

Some of you must not have an educator in your lives. These classrooms aren't filled with model students eager to learn for the day.

Rookie numbers. :pimp:
To stabilize it will take regulating and restricting social media (and banning shite like OF and prediction markets) like the chicoms are doing, but that puts us in an existential conundrum with our beliefs as a country.

But we already gave away our freedoms for airport pat downs and warrantless surveillance, so who knows what else we'll be willing to let the government do. I guess whatever social media algorithms tell us to do.

My choices would be:

Don's (if you want to stay in Lafayette)

Dupuy's (if you don't mind a drive to Abbeville)

If you want a hole in the wall place, Richard's Seafood Patio in Abbeville as a dark horse.

Here's to hoping this doesn't become a 2+ year long stickied thread that devolves into vaccine efficacy.
Whatever you do, make sure you cut your yard at a much higher blade setting. Cutting low and scalping your yard gives weeds the best environment to thrive.
My install had the walls sit inside a very tall, raised pan/curb. Without a caulk bead, you'd have to fill up the pan/shower with about 2 to 2.5 ft of water for it to climb behind wall and over pan.
I don't see how it would have leaked besides a crack in the pan or poorly sealed drain. Watching the install, not sure how it would leak even without silicone caulked seams.
Have a fairly large cultured marble walk-in shower that was put in around 4 years ago. As someone that has had tiled showers my entire life, don't think I'll be going back. My past experiences with mold, cleaning, regrouting, leaks...no thanks.
I went to Ahi for the first time last night. Was extremely good. That place should be packed, but only had about 4 other tables dining.

Will be one of my go-to’s moving forward.
$10,000 doesn't even cover my health insurance max OOP.

Crawfish Time on Verot

Sushi I've had with quick scores on food/atmosphere to help with your decision.

Minami (food: 7.5, atmosphere: 7.5)
Fuji (food: 8, atmosphere: 4)
Rock N Sake (food: 7, atmosphere: 9)
Tsunami (food: 6, atmosphere: 8)
Oishi (food: 10, atmosphere: 1)
Samurai - Amb Caff (food: 7, atmosphere: 3)
Nhi (food: 6, atmosphere: 6)
Sushi Masa (food: 4, atmosphere: 5)
Fish Box (food: 5, atmosphere: 2)
Osaka (food: 7, atmosphere: 6)

Haven't tried Ahi Sushi, but if OG owner of Samurai owns it like poster says, probably very solid.
Jail should stream their security footage showing how much of a good time he's having.
If you want deals, gotta go old school and watch the weekly ads. This would be a good tool for you:

With financial aid and no meal plan it’s still $60k.

$60k? :wha:

Where are you sending them to kindergarten? Stanford?

Edit: My bad, misread. Believe $60k is the yearly cost of daycare.
