Let whoever wants to separate into their own professional sports thing*

Better? This is a sports forum, I'm not officially drawing up contracts here genius.
Let the SEC/B1G separate completely into their own thing.

Treat the remnants like actual collegiate sports. NCAA has a championship for D1 that does not break away. Implement relegation/promotion between FBS and FCS. Reinstitute and audit for academic requirements. Lean into the brand of "college" football.

Basically, implement all the stuff that would make college sports better, that we couldn't do because the SEC wouldn't allow it.

people always say this, but I think most would rather know they are getting the axe before the holidays. Could at least cut back on spending.

Bro, we are in the holidays. Most people have already done their Christmas shopping lol
God gave all the basketball shooting talent and ball handling skills to the short Cajun baws in South LA, but knew he had blessed us too much already. So he had to give the north LA and southern whites height as a consolation.

This wasn't enough, so he threw in a Buc-ee's and a data center.

Being a parent will never be logical to your brain when weighing it against costs/responsibilities/etc.

I had to be dragged into parenthood by my spouse, because I overanalyze everything.

Is having kids worth it? It's the only thing on this planet worth it. The love you will have for your kids, and the love you will receive from your kids is incomparable to anything else in the world.

Maybe they're hoping Will Hall + money = better results. Like Fritz

Fritz before NIL

2016 Tulane 4–8 1–7 6th (West)
2017 Tulane 5–7 3–5 5th (West)
2018 Tulane 7–6 5–3 T–1st (West)
2019 Tulane 7–6 3–5 4th (West)
2020 Tulane 6–6 3–5 T–7th
2021 Tulane 2–10 1–7

Fritz after NIL:

2022 Tulane 12–2 7–1
2023 Tulane 11–2 8–0

May also be putting all their chips into this year. Thanks to the current state of CFB, moving on from Will Hall and hiring outside (after other programs have had their pick) risks this year's current postseason run.
Watch the movie Primer (2004). Probably most realistic time travel movie that covers your premise.
Is there no talk about dissolving the committee in favor of a formula like BCS in conjunction with the expanded playoff?

What would you fellas of the FDB go for:

$56 Barrel Proof JT Meleck Store Pick
$88 SiB Barrel Proof Four Roses Store Pick

Kinda leaning JT Meleck ever since I finished my last bottle. Surprised me.

Chicken needs to produce and stream a TD Rough N' Rowdy to settle these kinds of things.

Don't worry class of 2026, 50-year mortgages and 15-year auto loans are on the way.

T-Coons would be very accommodating if you gave them a heads up. Don't really need to give them a heads up, but they could maybe get y'all set-up ahead of time.

Lafayette Travel: Events

Lafayette Comedy

Downtown Events

Heymann Center Events

Links above for scouting things to do.

With the weather getting nice, could make your own food & drink crawl downtown out of the following places:

Wild Child Wine/Tsunami/Pamplona/Central/Spoonbill/Minami/Vestal/Tons/Reve/Hideaway at Lee

End the night at Hideaway and Blue Moon, usually have good music at one of those two.
Softball is the superior diamond sport for women. Way more entertaining.
