Legally and morally you are 100% correct.
They had superior numbers, she couldn’t have fought any of them 1v1 had she wanted to and they were already committing violence that could’ve led to her death.
That cop failed his partner.
What happened to the female cop reinforces the concerns many have with women being beat cops to begin with: they are physically inferior based on strength and unless they’re very cautious to the point of being unable to perform their duties or alternatively prepared to use extreme force this scenario is the all too real unfortunate possibility every time they go out on patrol.

The problem is all the random arseclowns standing 15-20 feet away in a circular crowd could get hit. I would like to say....frick them, too, but the cops have to judge the risk of accidentally hitting people who are total dumbarses, but they committed no assault on the cop, etc.

Rest assured though, the marches would be marching if one of those “innocent babies that were good kids getting ready for college this fall” would’ve gotten killed for committing a violent felony against an officer.
Side note; good on the partner for cleaning up everything but this is the problem with female cops.

You talking about the cop that ran in, tossed a teenage girl like a ball, wrestled away the male then like a gunfighter pulled his taser and fired precisely at the other young man? He did his job and saved the young lady without a lethal shot fired. Quite the failure he is. But sure let's go around shooting mobs of people because we can not because we have to.
If he had fired shots, more power to him but props to him for finding a more reasonable solution to the problem. Even if they didn't deserve his reasoned approach. I can assure you his life going forward is exponentially better off with the choice he made.

You aren’t gonna see any Charleston cops shoot blacks after what happened back in 2015 when that cop shite a fleeing suspect and got 20 years for his troubles. Blacks are untouchable in that city.

Why are they only using a taser. Expend your service weapon rounds then go to your car get your long rifle and fix the fricking problem permanently.
