Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?
We’re stuck under a truck.
I don’t want to spend the holidays dead.

I can’t help you understand thermodynamics other than this. The next time you have your thermostat set and its not cooling to your desired temp and your system is running on cool bury the thermostat to the lowest temperature setting and let me know how it works out for you.
I was just smelling….smiling! I was just blouse…browsing. It wouldn’t be the Christmas shopping season if the stores weren’t any less hooter-hotter than they are
Eat my rubber.
No dad I think what you mean is burn rubber and eat my dust.

re: Cooking a 9.2lb rib roast.

Do you have an oven safe internal probe, that way you wont have to worry about the size of the roast. I cook any medium to large size rib roast at a preheated 500 degree oven with probe and then turn down the oven to 350 degrees after 30 minutes Then you can take it out at the desired temp since the larger the roast the quicker the oven will cool down.
No never. What does that accomplish?
I think his question was about ignorance
re: How do some think an HVAC thermostat controls the temperature of the air blowing out?
Posted by kayjay on 12/23/25 at 9:28 pm to LSUTANGERINE
Well I’ll phrase it differently. The house is warm, let’s say 78, but the a/c is running and set on 70 so they bury the thermostat to 65 as if that is going to change anything. The unit/s are already cooling at their capacity.

Chargers are hard to control during burnouts.
This. Andouille is corse ground of not chunked. The best comes from Benoits in Addis as well their hot smoked pork sausage.
The point is that you are watching. Money is why they play them.
re: How did you 80s baws watch games?

We went to the stadium and stayed until the end because we couldn’t catch the end of the game on TV unless it happened to be on network TV, which was rare.

The deal is that he is smart enough to not bring on a former head coach that was fired that hasn’t coached since he left LSU. And I like coach O.
re: Standing Rib Roast. Smoke With The Bones Tied Or Without The Bones?

I smoke mine bone on. So much flavor comes from the bone.
Have you tried this method before using raw shrimp?
Convenience. Put in rice, salt and water and push the button. I can also cook excellent rice in a pot on top of the stove, but I prefer the convenience so I can concentrate on the rest of the meal. I can also make my own toothpicks, but I rather just buy a box.
I’m not as smart as you. Tell me what I need to know.

And what about the current retirees that paid into SS all our working life? Should we not at least get back some of what we paid in?
