Hopefully Iran will end up the same way after all is said and done and all the “we are going to war!” hysteria calms down.

I’ve had to put down several dogs in my years and you’ll blame yourself, second guess if it was too soon or could you have done anything different, etc. Eventually you’ll learn to forgive yourself and realize you gave your friend a solid 12 years on this earth.
