The overwhelming majority of actual libertarians are in the MAGA camp (though they do voice disappointment from time to time at individual Trump actions). Most of the “libertarians” on TD are just typical progressive shills (or general contrarians) who hide behind the label to pretend that they’re “above the fray” thinking that conservative posters will be more willing to agree with criticisms by libertarians vs out and proud democrats. There’s also a couple of establishment GOP types who oppose Trump on immigration and tariffs, and hide behind libertarians for those reasons. In national politics, the Libertarian Party is run by literal communists, and exists for nothing but agit-prop against the right. L’s in the GOP like Rand sometimes support Trump and sometimes don’t depending on the issue. Massey sold himself out to the progressives, and that is why he got primaried (he represents no one).
