Damn, that sounds a lot like mine. Oldest of seven. Grew up dirt poor on a small farm in Bradley County, AR (Hermitage). No indoor plumbing til he left for college.

Seen him make 3 holes in one. Watched him put up 20+ points in a church league hoops game in his early 50s. Just flipped up his left handed set hook shot over and over. :lol:

There is a theory that the federal bureaucracy exploded with the development of air conditioning. Previously, everyone vacated Washington, DC in the summer because it was miserably hot and humid. After AC, they could stay in their offices making stupid rules and regulations and waste our money.
