I bet you 80% of America thinks its big tax cuts for the wealthy, AND DONT REALIZE THE CUTS ALREADY EXIST, they are just being made permanent.

And no one ever does the simple math....

If the govt decides to give a tax break.....shouldnt it be proportionate to the taxes he paid? And since those making the most pay the most, wouldnt they end up with most of the break?

Interesting so the Cuba communist made sure he had a comfortable life too bad they don’t care about 98% of their population.

Fidel died with 400 million USD, the population has been half starved for decades, that embargo sure was well targeted.

Its ignorant.

International law says you claim the first country you come to and economics in not a valid claim for it.

We dont need some new law

Its a way to jam up the big beautiful bill and go back to business as usual "oh well we tried". Whats next, they will throw in there the right to kill baby kittens???
On a serious note, Im glad the deals are taking some time. I was afraid with all the screaming, they would rush deals just to make "something happen".

Stay the course fellas, stay the course.

Early morning presser a second day in a row?

I think they took a page from SEAL training, to interfere with the press "internal clock". A presser at 6am, now 8:30, expect the next at 6pm Saturday night
Uh, someone needs to tell her thats federal money, not dictated by state law.

Probably have some actblu scam in place to steal identities and claim welfare in the amount of 24,999
Grassley never asks for something unless he knows what is in it.

I would not be surprised the Trump admin gave him a whats up of where to look to give legitimacy to "being forced" to release documents and begin the process of finally bringing some justice to that sorted mess.

Ole nellie is a weak link and will be shaking worse than Pocahontas knowing she will get no cover from any dems because her usefulness is over.

Assume 'the steal' happens in 2028, Gavin Newsom wins the election. Now also consider that the federal government rarely exercises itself of authority already assumed; are you comfortable that Gavin Newsom now has law enforcement powers, even above those available to previous democratic presidents like Biden and Obama?

Point me to the law where they had the right to infect the entire world with a virus and kill millions???? I missed that, was it the Patriot Act that bogey man of a law.

Speaking of, did the Patriot Act give them the right to spy on individuals BEFORE they had a FISA warrant? To write up a phony dossier? To jail citizens with no due process?

Where states and cities are openly defying the law, the federal govt needs to intervene to ensure a more perfect union. Ask Little Rock Arkansas in 1957.....

Do you ever stop and wonder how these powers might be abused when the guy you don't like takes over?

Oh no the proverbial, they might do it to us.

They tried to kill us with covid over a friggin election. They tried to jail, impeach, and kill the president twice.

But oh man, to ensure some liberal city does not burn itself down and then expect federal dollars to rebuild it, oh my oh no, lions, tigers and bears.

This was a misstep by Trump. They were going to elect a somewhat conservative until he went after them. They were dumb to change course, but had he ignored them and waited until after this election to start dealing with negotiations, he'd have had much more of an ally.

So now Canada is Trump's fault? Thats a stretch even by tds standards
I laugh at how some lament these tariffs and their drop in 401K.

You fail to realize, if these policies had taken place 20 years ago, you probably would have triple the money you have now, instead you grovel and complain about the left over crumbs waiting for those to be taken if it continued.

Rand is correct. Tariffs are taxes, and Congress is the one with that power in the Constitution.

Son, just say you flunked out before taking 9th grade civics, it would be easier
I think all of you are correct:

-We may get an actual budget for the first time in years in the fall
-Some things are cut as they go, and many things will show savings even if budgeted like the reduction in theft of medicaid and care by the states (Im looking at you newsom and he should be charged under rico)

Lastly, I am certain they have come across some really nasty trails of cash to many politicians, wonder if that is used to keep the dems in line during budget talks, and then explodes before midterms.

My point is that Tucker was attempting to demonstrate that Russia under Putin is a wonderful place… It was ridiculous.

I spent some time working in St. Petersburg......I also spent time working in Baltimore, Philly, NO 9th ward, and many other US cities......I didnt fear for my life in St. Petersburg....and the bread was delicious.

And Putin never tried to kill my elderly family and friends with a virus.

And there it is, so if they speak ukranian they must be ukranian? Hmm how about this:

quote:

A more recent survey, conducted in July 2023, found that 40% of Ukrainians know English as their first foreign language,

Does this mean 40% of ukraine should actually belong to the US or England since they speak English?

Crimea has always thought of itself as Russian. Politicians make boundaries, not the people involved.

Donbas would be happy to be part of Russia, over a million have fled to Russia. Now some clown will say, many speak ukranian. So does that mean most of the US that speaks english....would rather be in the UK?

Regarding Tucker.....if the US govt is so pro ukraine, and he is a CIA op, why would he be open to hearing Russia's side. Or, are you calling him a double, quadruple spy agent of some sort??????

The simple fact is this. If we made it very clear to Russia to stop meddling in Mexico and they did the following:

Overthrew their president and installed a puppet
Had that president then start bombing expat resorts in Mexico
Then started supplying that president with long range missiles in Mexico

What would the US do?

And for all you who think different. Ya might want to revisit the "cuban" missile crisis. It was actually an "Italian and Turkey" missile crisis when we placed Jupiter missiles there and prompted Russia to then place ones in Cuba.

We always are good at the FA and leave the FO to some poor bastids, both the US taxpayer and some poor souls in a foreign land.
Those russians must be using some awfully fast donkeys, even evaded our Patriot systems and hit kiev, impressive, maybe ukraine should get some.
Only a knucklehead would sign a business deal with a country that may not exist in a few months....oh yeah, nevermind

Yes Friday the 30 of May they have 16 coming in and between then and the 16 of June they have 47 visits according to on3.

JLee and company said us and alot, alot of schools are trying to nail that jello to the wall before the season given most sign Dec 4-6 period now. Want to limit all the "bargaining" while trying to play football. What a shite show this has become.

Would be interesting to see a study only involving US citizens. CA and NY's numbers are skewed by all the illegals that don't speak English.

They are in the school arent they?

On another note:

quote:

In September 2023, the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) invalidated nearly 1,000 state test results following an investigation into irregularities at 12 schools in five districts.

I would have included Lousiana, but if you google cheating on standardized tests.....its pages long
