You’re dumber than the last guy.

Dan Quayle didn’t advocate for government intervention in the show or in women’s right to be whores. He said Murphy Brown was “mocking the importance of fathers by bearing a child alone.” That’s a little stronger than I would have approached the message. But he’s undeniably right on the main point that children and society function best when we have intact, two-parent homes.
