Conservatives lost every social issue in our life times

We talk about the left and how they are destroying the nation all the time. The problem with that is it tends to remove and "absolve" the conservatives in action.
Because we purchased the idea that a separation of church and state meant keeping Christianity out of politics, we allowed it all. We allowed libertarian influences to shape the lack of response. What they do is their business. Right.
Now we see the results. Kids being taught that anything goes. Experiment with any and everything. Its all about what makes you feel good... and if you feel bad, its because the creatures on the right are bigots and we will handle them. BAKE THE CAKE OR ELSE!
And its by design. All of it.
We will keep losing it too. The reason is conservatives can not get on the same page. When Trans are being elected, its already an accepted thing or they would not have been elected. Islam is surging because of the same mind set.
Until we can put aside the pettiness of individual conservatives.
We never learn.

Change (progress) is inevitable. Conserving will only slow the progress, never stop the progress.

Conservatism doesn’t mean being a Luddite and stopping progress.
It means keeping (conserving) what works while simultaneously and judiciously adopting new ways to improve what doesn’t.
To often those calling themselves “progressive” are revolutionaries who want to burn everything to the ground, even the things that work.

Thats a truth.
We are allowing it. The issue now is that we have a new conservative faction that is very large that has been trained to accept these things.
At one point, homosexuality was opposed. Now you will find that a very large % of the right has accepted it and will defend it. Thats the libertarian influence within the party.

I still don’t believe this small group has any effect. They don’t go from voting to sitting out. Most of them did the same shite during the presidential election asking what’s in it for them to vote. Then Trump won the popular vote

Homo's are an abomination. We are seeing the same with abortion now. The right is weak on everything and has no backbone, none. Hell the current admin is not reducing debt but adding to it. What are we conserving?

As societies develop, they vacillate between more liberal and conservative values but the net is effectively always a move left.
