Oh, I'll bet you do.
Just in case I'm wrong, though, "secular values" are values that are offered as though they have some objective grounding in something beyond the individual human mind, but they don't, because the person holding them denies the existence of anything that could objectively ground them.

And Trump has made it much worse, not better.
Then your dumbass comes in and asks for a federal abortion ban and loses.
Trump has cured conservatives from that stupidity.

I grew up Catholic. I'm not particularly religious. If I was still Catholic would you guess that I battled off all sorts of competing religions to arrive at that conclusion?
Probably he wouldn't, because only the most arrogant retard would assume he knew something like that about you from a message board.
Speaking of which, what is it you think you know about me again?

To answer a different question, I’d assume you haven’t exercised many moral muscles in your life and are easily swayed by popular opinion. And that has led you to where you are today far more than any “intelligent exercise” in investigation of faith and morality.
In other words, you’re a typical, neckbeard Millenial.

You're a Christian, right, which I assume means you believe what Christ said? Who did Jesus say was good? He was very specific.
Do you believe no one should strive for holiness? I know you don't believe that. We aren't God. We aren't perfect, but we are still called to strive for heaven, even though none of us are worthy of it.
Ugh, I just realized this could open the whole protestant way of thinking that just saying you know Jesus died for our sins is enough to get into heaven whereas Catholics believe you need faith+works. I really am not trying to have that debate.

In fact, the observation that almost all people have a conscience yet no one lives according to it is one of the biggest evidences for Christianity, per C.S. Lewis.
My point is someone doesn't have to profess to be Christian to live in line with what are commonly called "Christian values."
Everyone is capable of following the Golden Rule regardless of if they have heard the name "Jesus" before.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a textbook example of the Genetic Fallacy.
Having a phrase for something doesn't make it real. Has nothing to do with genetics and there is no fallacy for you to attack. The numbers overwhelmingly support my position and refute yours.

You're welcome to make as many dumb assumptions as you would like.

Maybe a better framing is "worldview."

This is another area where Republicans fail. Democrats have long term vision. Republicans don't care what happens when they're out of office. Republicans have been trending slightly left for years as the Democrats have gotten their way on more and more issues and now we're at a point where the party is full of lifelong Democrats.
Indeed. Democrats play long game. Very long game. And the DNC runs the party like a machine.
The Pubs need organization, and long term planning.
Simply reacting, is no way to ever win at anything, but especially politics.
I could argue about the Red Team being full of Dems. We definitely have too many RINOS. And this years primaries didn't go as well as they should have for us in some states.
I think if the Red Team would just stand up, put together an organized FIGHT and start to do right, it would help substantially.
I will say tho. I'll be dead and in the grave before I vote Blue.

You’re dumber than the last guy.
Dan Quayle didn’t advocate for government intervention in the show or in women’s right to be whores. He said Murphy Brown was “mocking the importance of fathers by bearing a child alone.” That’s a little stronger than I would have approached the message. But he’s undeniably right on the main point that children and society function best when we have intact, two-parent homes
If you believe a sitting Vice President has zero influence at all, you sir are the dumb one.
He also advocated for censorship in music and government was successful on that front. Going so far as jailing someone for performing at a concert.

It’s a constant moving of the goalposts. That’s how they win these issues. Consider illegal immigration. At first, if you were in this country illegally, you should be deported. Now, it’s almost impossible to be deported unless you are a CRIMINAL illegal alien. I’ve had a front row seat on watching how it’s done. It’s orchestrated, coordinated, and executed. Unfortunately, it is going to keep happening, and it’s not because of libertarians lol.

Absolutely... let's live nationwide like they do in California. People are griping about gas here and it's the lower price that is usually seen in California.
What states are people fleeing and which ones are they moving to again?
And while we are at it..: just fling open the doors to the third world. It has been soooooo great for Europe.

abortion is turning, In some states it's getting to an extreme that it becomes no longer tolerable by an ever-growing majority
