trying to figure out which pistol she was supposed to buy.

Which is all the more funny as none of them really know. One of the presumably brighter ones in the group I witnessed (presumably because he finished his 4473 faster than the other two) started looking at the handguns in the display cases. Didn't matter if it was a CZ, a Sig, or S&W...all Glocks to him...

Too bad they weren't escorted right into a jail cell.

True.

Never stated it didn't.

My observation is more to do with the casual indifference to their own ignorance of what they are buying. Ostensibly, these are adults but may as well have been children picking out Nerf blasters for what was displayed. They were buying ammo (well, one little box of 20rds), probably going to be handling these weapons loaded before the day is out, waving them around for pictures for social media posts.

Looks like he got a well deserved promotion to 1st LT.

He's a 160th SOAR CW5, would probably cut your heart out of your chest with his coffee mug if heard you call him a LT.

If the dealer suspects it is a straw purchase, he is obligated to not make the sale. The things you mentioned, especially buying multiple guns of which you have no knowledge, is a prime example.

In this area just outside of Memphis, you can pretty much always expect that and never make a sale then. They way I interpreted it, more like the dealer hopes they aren't based on his repeating that instruction to them.
I am building a battlefield cross for a small memorial ceremony of a soldier that recently passed away in my unit, putting together a M4 clone (and I mean something that really only has to pass cursory inspection) and while getting a few of the last pieces I need there were three gentlemen buying AR pistols and something that looked like a knockoff MAC10. None of them really had a clue what they were buying, no sights on anything and none were interested in any accessory packages the guy at the counter offered. He started handing out the 4473's and the only instruction he reiterated was about straw purchases. He went over that point multiple times to each of them in fact, not sure any of them really understood it anyway, pretty sure those guns are going to wind up in evidence lockers after being used as social media props eventually. It's sad too, one of them kept stating how this was his first gun purchase, and you would hope they would get some basic instruction at some point but that's wishful thinking on my part. Kind of sobering watching firsthand as people make these kinds of purchases informed through whatever social media they engage with and not much else.

One of them got something in .300 Blackout, pretty sure he's going to chamber .223 in it at least once.
No black woman is giving up first class, she probably tried to pull the race card to get a free upgrade and was denied. Sour grape soda and all that.

That would be "illegal aliens", you idiot.
I would just go with blocking, not like there is really that much guess work with normal studs anyway.

Another reason I don't have one, wonder how many owners have an image of a turd that the vacuum robot ran over and spead it all over the house.

Ostensibly yes, but anyone retarded enough to allow just any company, let alone CCP owned appliances access to their private networks and information systems pretty much deserve getting hacked or spied on.

Meh, let me know when there's a cute baby dolphin named Floggin.

TDS is just another phase of retardation for you.
I've had Bryant units, last one installed in 2014 and ran perfectly until 2025 when I sold the house. Annual cleaning and check-ups, don't think it ever needed a top-off on refrigerant. As with anything, the quality of the tech doing the work is the biggest factor.

Not sure if a pneumatic gun with a small compressor is better or perhaps a Dewalt with battery. Ideas, suggestions, or recommendations welcome.

If you are doing this job by yourself, a nail gun will be much easier and faster. I have a Dewalt 20V screwgun with the collated screw attahment, which would also be a good option, but collated treated deck screws (especially stainless) are pretty expensive on top of buying a tool setup that has limited applications outside of fences, decks, and drywall. Unfortunately, a siding/fencing coil nailer isn't cheap either, a Bostitch coil gun runs about $300 and you could probably find some Chinese rebadge for $200. I have a Spotnails 0 degree general purpose coil nailer (most are 15 degree) and I've used it for most fence work and projects where a framing gun was too much. About a $400 gun though. A cordless nail gun might be an option, I don't think anyone makes a battery-powered coil gun that isn't a roofing nailer, Paslode has a gas gun option but it's a $600 kit.

re: Tire repair kit

I'd just stick with plug kits, never had a problem with them and keep a kit in every vehicle. I only rely on any such repair long enough until I can get it properly patched at the tire shop I usually use.

Think it's ok here, last time I went to one, the talent was pretty much whatever the local trailer park or HUD hood puked out. Food isn't good enough to distract from stretch marks and probably bullet scars.
