Trump is the first presidential candidate to support gay marriage. Lindsey Graham was a close ally.

At one point, homosexuality was opposed. Now you will find that a very large % of the right has accepted it and will defend it. Thats the libertarian influence within the party.

For one thing, political conservatives should stay out of cultural issues if they want to be consistent…

There’s an obvious middle ground that most people would be fine living in.

The left obviously takes shite way too far but the right does too.

And here VOR comes to let us know that we shouldn't care about late term abortion or sex changing prepubescents.

We will keep losing it too. The reason is conservatives can not get on the same page. When Trans are being elected, its already an accepted thing or they would not have been elected. Islam is surging because of the same mind set.

there is one transhomo congressman it's from delaware how as a conservative living in arkansas could i have have stopped that. by the way in arkansas republicans have a super majority in the legislature, control every constitutional office and the supreme court, guess what we've won the abortion social issue in arkansas we don't allow it.

now you need to work on california if that really is were you live. you see 90% of the government that you can see, touch and feel happens to you on the city, county and state level. you remind me of vin coglianese always screaming on his show about how "we've" got to fix fairfax county virginia with boys in girls locker rooms and letting illegals muder people. there's nothing "we" can do to fix fairfax virginia since "we" don't live there but he does. my answer to that is always the same, MOVE they're plenty of states that don't allow boys in girls locker rooms.

Conservatives be like “I’m principled, I think it’s ok for gays to get married but they can’t marry little boys.”

And then you look up 5 years later and little boy marriage is legal

The truth is that it isn’t possible to conserve conservatism in a system where every idiot has a say.

A glut for more and newer stuff has clouded the conservative's judgement. They want nicer homes, bigger trucks, nicer dinners, etc, and they want it now. These conservatives have paid for it by sending their kids to daycare at 6 months and both parents to work.

You can blame it on acceptance of libertarian philosophy all you want, but more and more consevatives have been letting the state raise their children instead of doing it themselves. Strong families resist government and societal indoctrination. Weak families succomb to it.

You are sacrificing your children on the altar of your worldly possessions instead of sacrificing your possessions for your children.

No amount of Christian values in government will replace the fact that conservatives have willingly invited the government to be a partner in raising their children. That is where the problem starts.

Pssst, the conservatives haven't been in control of anything since the end of the War for Southern Independence.

Especially beginning in the 19th century we have had two progressive parties.

In your opinion, what politician in DC espouses traditional conservative beliefs and is principled enough to act on them?

For a short time, there was a stance of do not give the left one single inch. Regardless of the issue. Do not back down.
That stance should not have ended.

Most likely

Still, I’d fight a war against the left if it came to it. I think they’re overwhelmingly the main culprit. The stuff the right pushes too far on is just really, REALLY annoying.

Sadly I don’t think anything matters any longer, though. We’ll be carefully ushered to our ultimate destruction by the ruling class either way. It doesn’t matter if the left or right is in favor at different times.

Right vs left is a distraction to keep us from removing the parasite class

Someone who makes a living doing financial derivatives or buying up houses for blackrock or buying up mechanic shops and raising the price and making them shitty are actually worse for society than ebteisha and welfareonica

People who do that are not conservatives.

By definition.

This is the narrative of the MAGA right. Ascribe all of these traits to "conservatives" who aren't really conservatives.

We bought the lie that being nice to evil people was somehow a "christian" thing to do.

We conflated niceness with morality, and lost.
