No, you are not. This anonymous place follows your wife's current wishes and lets you take care of yourself so you can take care of her. Vent anytime you want, and if some rando gives you shite, frick 'em. Don't avoid "talking" because often the act of just typing it out or saying it gives a world of relief.

Inflammatory breast cancer is very rare. My sister was diagnosed with it and died 2 years after diagnosis. Went to MD Anderson right after diagnosis. Did immunotherapy, removed breast. It eventually spread to her pelvic area and then brain. This is what John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, died from. She too went to MD Anderson. By the time it shows up it’s usually stage 3 or 4. Hers showed up in her lymph nodes in neck. Hard to detect on a mammogram because it doesn’t show up as a lump. Hate to tell you all this information, but we lived through it as a family. Prayers for you all going forward. ??
I know it’s bad. That’s why I’m freaking out. Wife refuses to look at this shite and keep a positive outcome.

damn man. that’s heartbreaking.
I’ll pray for you and your family tonight.
I know we’re in the same area of HTown. If there’s anything, anything at all me and my family can do to help your family out, we will do so. A quick meal. Errands. Whatever.
Reply back and I’ll drop my email address.

Lots of prayers sent your way. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over 40 years ago I went to M.D. Anderson for my second opinion. They were great. They’re even better now.
When I was diagnosed, I was 30 and single. I had a great support system of family and friends who kept my spirits up and my attitude positive. I never thought I was going to die…and I didn’t. A positive attitude is so important. I eventually married and had children. I’m living proof that there is life after cancer and it can be wonderful.
Please tell your wife I will pray for her every day and for her to keep positive thoughts and to take care of herself. She’s very lucky to have you.

She went to memorial Herman for her mammograms and they had her a stage 5 suspicious but couldn’t get her in until mid November for biopsy. She called MD Anderson and they fast tracked everything. Cancer was confirmed, but we have been going through brain mri’s and other testing to figure out what we are dealing with.

Went through that same thing 13 years ago. Luckily for you, treatment has come a long way. It’s been a tough journey, but she has no evidence now and we are living life. Keep your head up and lean on friends and family for support. Our church group helped us a ton.
