Saul was David's hero growing up. He knew him from a small child.

Saul was king so everyone looked up to him. But that's a distinction without a difference. The mode David followed was later echoed by the Lord when He told us to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you (are against you.) The theme is there and its biblical.

On a personal side, I cannot be like those who celebrated Kirk's death because he said things they didn't like. Reiner was nothing to me either, but I can still be saddened by his demise and knowing, that unless he repented to Christ before he took his last breath, that he is now in hell and eternal damnation. That is tragic.

quote:

Rob Reiner has never been anything to me but someone who would have gladly seen me murdered or put into a camp.

Did Rob ever say he wants conservatives or Christians murdered of put in camps? I didn't like that guy but I have never seen him say that. And even if he did, see above.

Relieved that an enemy is removed from the battlefield? Yes.

I can understand your point here.
Islam is a patristical religion/ideology. It has no place in American and Western society. You have go to be a special kind of stupid to simp for Muslims.
Are we relying on AG Bondi do something other than talk strongly on Fox News?
Hopefully this isn't a case of "free beer tomorrow."

Amen. I couldn't stand the guy's politics and wouldn't have paid a nickel to see him. But I can also be saddened by the tragic and violent nature of this death. Even David mourned Saul...and Saul literally tried to kill him.
Very proud of Mendoza. Well deserved. Indiana did great this year. Very good team and pretty strong. It will be interesting seeing how they do in the playoffs. Good luck to your team.

If the rumors are true that UM knew about it but covered it up for a while then no coach worth his salt will no near that school.
Are you still pretending to be an Alabama fan? You're way too obvious.
Les Miles to Michigan as foretold by the Prophet Kirk Herbstreit years ago.

Kane does it again.

Seems like most games Bama gets a turnover over or two. Number 18 is a ball hawk! Really great defense and Wommack as done a great job this year.

For what its worth AI says we win by 2 lol

Oof! Ai also told me that UGA would win the SEC title with a 27-24 win over Bama. Got it just a little wrong.

I think Bama wins by 2 scores.

Bama 31
OU 21
Would be poetic for Bama to win that game. They certainly have the defense to do so.

Who is your team?

I live not too far from Tuscaloosa and my sons live in the Tuscaloosa area. So I pull for Alabama most of the time. I love the tradition and think Bama is college football. How can one not love what Bama means to the grand tradition of college football?

My daughter (high schooler) wants to go to Ole Miss so by default I cheer them too. Figured I needed to at least bandwagon them a little bit since in a couple of years I'll be cutting tuition checks to them.

Mostly I just love college sports. I do lean more heavily into the Bama camp and certainly will be pulling for Bama in the playoffs.
Your OC would use the Wildcat to call a triple reverse flea flicker that nets -1 yard.
Your defense is a national championship caliber defense. They are played lights out and have looked great. But the offense does them no favors at all. Get the o-line to play decent to good and this Bama team can make a deep run.
I think Bama comes in this game with a chip on their shoulder knowing they had this OU team whipped in the first game but mistakes cost them. I think they team is mentally ready and healthier than they've been in a while. I see Bama winning by 2 scores.

Bama 31
OU 21

If Bama can get the O-line to be decent to good then this game won't be close. I've never seen a Bama O-line this bad and constantly losing 1 on 1 battles. It's hard to have a functional run or passing game with an o-line this mediocre, especially against SEC defenses.

And of course, don't turn the ball over. Yall walked all over that Veneables defense last game...but kept giving them the ball with a short field.
This Bama squad has no business being in the playoffs.
