Brotha, that's terrible to hear... yall will pull through, but it will be a hard time to say the least... be for her there mentally and physically, but this isn't something she will go through alone... be the rock... be the shelter in her storm

Life throws curveballs... its how you respond that matters most... Wishing you all the best!!

It seems like one day we will all be on one side or the other of this diagnosis or another... prayer is powerful, and so is love... dwell on the positives, not the negatives... love conquers all... love conquers all

Bosses TD Family Close friends Prayers Rize

Yeah she’s a very private strong person and will not tell her mother who is in poor health so I’m letting her roll the news out and she she’s fit. I think she’s taking the news much better than I am.

I debated starting this thread but could use some extra prayers right now and it may be a few weeks before we break the news to folks because some family she wants to do in person.

Wife was diagnosed with triple negative, stage 2, 11+ years ago. It's a beast. Treatment is a journey.

If you want kids and they tell you all you won't, that's not always true. We had a surprise blessing 5 years later.

Take the help when offered. Support her however you can. Best of luck to your wife and you.

I’m so sorry; it’s a tough journey with lots of ups and downs. You will meet some of the best humans with your care team. I’m a 13 year survivor and have several friends that have been cancer free for 20 years. Praying for y’all.

They had a team in there and we cracked a few jokes. She’s one of 1 to 5% of cases so It’s pretty rare.

You’re getting her treated at the best place in the world. Prayers to you and her, and the whole family because this is going to be rough on all of you in some way. My wife had a scare last December and before the results even came back, I had an appointment scheduled at MD Anderson ready to go since all indications were that it was cancer. Thankfully it turned out to be benign but it’s a close watch from here on out. Listen to the doctors there and good luck!

Dude, that sucks. I will keep my fingers crossed that she is pCR prior to surgery!!!

On a note to you:

Make sure you have someone you can unload on: a friend, more distant family, tOT, or a professional. You will need to keep your mind clear to help carry her load. Your positivity is important. Don't just eat all the negative; get it out so you can be 100% for her and not rip yourself apart.

That’s why I created this thread. She’s wanting to keep this quiet and we have known she’s had cancer for the last couple weeks but I’m letting her do her thing. I’m a fricking pussy and need to get this shite off my chest.

We knew she had cancer but got the bad news yesterday. We were holding out hope that it woul not be what it was.

Inflammatory breast cancer is very rare. My sister was diagnosed with it and died 2 years after diagnosis. Went to MD Anderson right after diagnosis. Did immunotherapy, removed breast. It eventually spread to her pelvic area and then brain. This is what John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, died from. She too went to MD Anderson. By the time it shows up it’s usually stage 3 or 4. Hers showed up in her lymph nodes in neck. Hard to detect on a mammogram because it doesn’t show up as a lump. Hate to tell you all this information, but we lived through it as a family. Prayers for you all going forward. ??
