I’m from Catahoula Parish and grew up about 15 miles from her. We don’t talk like her. There’s twang in our accent, for sure. But she’s created her own and tried to combine Texas, north Louisiana, northern Mississippi, and Georgia all into one. It’s embarrassing

It’t really difficult for me to understand why people wouldn’t want kids. They’re part of the whole picture of life. Yes, kids are 100% worth it.

Great show for the first few seasons. Then it just became really really stupid. They ruined it and I didn’t even finish the fourth season
That’s really high for a warranty. I got a 60k extended warranty on my F-150 King Ranch for around $3,500. And I just used it to replace the cam phasers, a $4,800 job. Also used it to replace the transmission-$12,000. Worth every penny

Not a chance. Wouldn’t have 10 years ago when she was teaching my son either.
She was my son’s first grade teacher. She also taught my niece, nephew, and countless other kids I know. She wasn’t a high school teacher, so I’m not able to piece some of this together. I’ve heard the kid was 18, but I’m not sure if that’s the case or not. She has 3 or 4 kids and her husband has always seemed like a good dude. Bizarre and very sad situation .

Oh yeah, that one got me. Our kids are closer and closer to being grown and out of the house-16 and 14. We put our first family dog down last Christmas, a golden retriever named Sampson. I think about my kids being out of the house every day and it breaks my heart. But man, we did it right with our kids. That’s why it hurts so much to think about the house without them.
