That earthquake game was the last baseball game I ever watched with my grandfather. I loved that team.
That should be a part of the armed teacher program. They should get incentive pay for the added responsibility and should have quarterly qualification drills.
Thanks guys! Looks like I’ll be looking for live bait. I appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be there when the Cypress Bend lights will be open. We would have to go 12/23 and I saw they aren’t open on Mondays.

Family is going to TB, staying on the water in Milam, TX. We’ll be there right around Christmas. I’m planning to bring my boat. Any suggestions on where and what to fish for? I figure we can set some trotlines, but would bass or crappie be worth going after?
In Tensas now. The Basemap app works great out here. Our group ran into a few other hunters, but only one was rude. Good hunt so far, two does down.

Have a backup plan. I scouted a WMA a few years ago, found a great spot, got out there really early and there was this old fellow shining his flashlight at me. I pulled my climber off and headed to another spot I’d found. Over the years I’ve killed three bucks out of that same backup tree. One was a crazy palmated 9. Tomorrow me and my two sons are hunting public on a draw hunt a few hundred yards from my honey hole.
