Who comes up with these dumbass corporate buzzwords?

Is there some group of idiots holed up in a massive conference room that brainstorm all day and just try to come up with the dumbest corporate buzzword possible?
We’ve got Team, onboarding, circle back, leaning into, champion and reach out. Most of us have heard those spewed out by brain dead mid-level management on a daily basis.
But I just heard what has to be the dumbest so far….”At the elbow training”. Uhh, WTF? You can just say training?

Women
Women with HR degrees, specifically.

Your company is ahead of the game if they're still using actual words and not acronyms.

No need to get in the weeds just yet. Let's put a pin in that and circle back after reaching out to project stakeholders. Ensure this effort is adding value without boiling the ocean. Client is in the office today so be cognizant of your environment and if you're working remote remain visible.

Outdated list. Reach out would blow all them out of the water.

Im trying to get "NPC" in circulation as a joke. It would be funny to see managers unknowingly refer to workers as non -player characters

Stakeholder isn't a buzzword. It has a legitimate meaning and has been used for centuries.
For these reasons, "academics" are trying to ban it.

Run it up the flagpole has been around for decades.

I create these buzzwords off the side of my desk. The core functionality of most of them involves expanding the circle of accountability. That's my true north and how I stay engaged.

Be proactive. You have a lot of action items and must execute your deliverables.
