Louisiana has quite a few excellent lawyers that are from Louisiana, went to LSU, and understand the nuances of copyright law.

I think I was in my 30s before I found out that 100s of stockbrokers didn't jump out of their office windows.
I owe everything to capitalism; I'm about as self-made as it gets. There's no way we would have been as successful in any other country, or any other economic system.
That said, unchecked capitalism has some downsides, and I'll give an example:
We have allowed airlines to write their own legislation, dictate the terms of hiw they will use public facilities, and limit the rights of customers to basically "0". There are other, less obvious examples of this type of thing, but that is the most visible, and glaringly apparent.
Of more concern, but far less obvious, is that the world's largest customer has essentially barnned small businesses from the opportunity to sell to them.
This has been a trend that has been going on for 10-15 years and continues to accelerate. It doesn't help that the typical government procurement officer makes a sloth look like a coked-up Micheal Irwin.
