Your company is ahead of the game if they're still using actual words and not acronyms.
I was in the Army for 20 years. We perfected speaking in acronyms. We could say an entire sentence with pretty much just acronyms.

Reach out is definitely gaining traction

I’m a big “alignment” guy.

We’ve got Team, onboarding, circle back, leaning into, champion and reach out.
How are any of these other than “circle back” buzzwords? Damn are people not allowed to speak anymore?

Acronyms make sense in the military.
In corporate life they're just stupid.

corporate buzzwords?

Team, reach out.
I'm sorry, how are you equating the word "team" as some kind of interoffice lingo only? and reach out? These are common everyday words lol
When I think corporate buzzwords I think of things that you almost exclusively only hear in business, shite like "synergy".

He heard someone use a four syllable words and he rattled off everything that drives him crazy. His employer has driven him mad to the point where he only calls the collection of players a squad or a battalion.

No, it isn’t. I am closer to 45 than 40 and I first did a brainstorming exercise in elementary school.

Basically corporate paper pushing drones. People that couldn't perform at an actual job or be productive if you held a gun to their head.

Send useless emails and Teams messages to justify why we're charging the client $320/hr, even though nobody from the client is actually working.

One I hate is “are you tracking this?”

If you have to socialize the strategy with your team before implementing workflow changes, it can be. No vocabulary is a 'buzzword' in a silo but when used to enhance synergy between cross functional departments aka team, anything can be a buzzword. Of course, adding shareholder value is at the heart of everything we do but when there is a push from higher-ups toward action items outside of scope, we have to protect ourselves. So let's reach out to ensure alignment on the critical path and ALWAYS work from the source of truth.
