Like using, "So" to start a sentence and "Right?" to end every sentence.

No, frickstick, it's not "right".

Change agent beating stakeholder AND bandwidth?

There had to be a payoff somewhere.

If you have to socialize the strategy with your team before implementing workflow changes, it can be. No vocabulary is a 'buzzword' in a silo but when used to enhance synergy between cross functional departments aka team, anything can be a buzzword. Of course, adding shareholder value is at the heart of everything we do but when there is a push from higher-ups toward action items outside of scope, we have to protect ourselves. So let's reach out to ensure alignment on the critical path and ALWAYS work from the source of truth.

You lost my attention at “buzzword”.

And middle management wonders why everyone is looking at them with a glazed over look on their faces.

Seems we are missing “cross-functional” alignment across this multi-stakeholder thread about the value drivers to define the unmet need of corporate jargon.

I'm a little disappointed they left out Synergy and At the End of the Day.

I can’t provide any meaningful input as that’s outside of my vertical. I’ll engage with our subject matter experts and circle back with an opinion and immediate deliverables.

Personal gear grinder - those who are telling you information or a story and they end every other sentence with “right?“. No, I don’t know if that’s right or not. You’re the one telling me, stop assuming I know what you think you know.

I have a director that uses "space" too much. It drives me crazy.

"Let's stay in this space"
"When you are in a certain space"
"This is a good/bad space"

Last meeting we had, he spoke for maybe 15 minutes and used it 16 times. I counted them.

Tell him to go puff a pickle

I had a colleague that used this term in every meeting. . . actually, I was his boss. He always thought he was the smartest person in the room and constantly tried to prove it. Guess what? He wasn't.

He was one of the reasons I retired. I am so happy I don't have to see that sanctimonious prick anymore.

To me it’s the acronyms. Sometimes the acronym has more syllables. Dumb. Just because you made an acronym doesn’t mean it’s the bomb.

If you were his boss, you should've run his arse off.

He likely annoyed TF out of everyone else, too.

It’s old and used a lot. I use it. I didn’t really consider it a corporate buzz phrase

My dispatcher is not a dispatcher, she's an "Asset Manager". Also our safety department is known as "Risk Management".

Dumbest nonsense.

I first heard "efforting" decades ago on the Jim Rome show, when they were trying to get a guest on. He used it a lot.

Ones I haven't seen mentioned:

- Avoiding scope creep
- Swim Lanes
- Cadence

Latest buzzword at my company is “wholistically”and I didn’t misspell that. They put that dumb shite on presentations.
