The woke mob says its ok.

quote:

A California family’s Hawaiian getaway turned to horror when its members were targeted as “haole boys” and viciously beaten by a mob at a luxury Maui resort, leaving one with a huge head wound. The violent brawl broke out around 10 p.m. on July 17 at the Kaanapali Alii resort in West Maui, where local officers responded to a disturbance involving roughly 30 people near the property’s pool. Seven visitors from California, ranging in age from 17 to 62, told police they were assaulted after a group of young people allegedly threw chairs and attacked members of their family.

My family was at that beach a couple weeks ago. It started raining and I ran to get the car to pick up my family and older parents with a bunch of beach shite. I wasn’t blocking traffic or distributing anyone , but some local hoodlums zipped by super close and yelled “privileged [inaudible]!”
Didn’t really occur to me they could’ve been actually dangerous.

Would be a very bold strategy for the locals in west Maui to revolt against the tourists. That’s the only reason any businesses exist on the west side of the island.

The oceanfront Kaanapali Alii, known for its luxury condominium rentals, said it is cooperating with investigators.

Can’t imagine anyone wanting to spend $800 a night and end up in the hospital. Not a good look for tourism.

HI sounds increasingly ghetto. Seen a couple of reports like this lately.

I know Hawaii is beautiful and all, but truly don’t get the appeal when there are 100’s of equally as nice tropical destinations for magnitudes cheaper, closer, and the locals don’t hate your guts. Added benefit is that you don’t have to be in a place where the pinnacle of their food culture is fried spam.

Hawaiians are some of the most racist people I have ever encountered. Spent 3 years there while my dad was stationed in Oahu. I was young but still old enough to remember.

Went back as an adult and still the same shite.

We had some friends (husband was in the hospitality business) move there a few years ago and I warned them. Family moved back without him less than two years later. He joined them 3 months after that.

Those "Hawaiians" are pretty racist and anti-American. They have this sense of pride and act like they're the only natives who should have rights on the islands. When, in fact, they're just lowly Filipinos who would literally be living in a third-world shithole had the U.S. not annexed them.

We were literally just there last week. Could have been us (no joke).

As mentioned, Hawaii is beautiful. It’s a bucket list type of trip. But, as also mentioned, there are plenty of other islands in that are just as beautiful and far less expensive.

I have heard from a few people that have been to Hawaii that the locals “natives” have a lot of disdain for whites whom they see as colonizers.

I lived in Hawaii for three and a half years and am currently here for work. I hate everything about this place. The people are lazy, slow, and ungrateful. They constantly pine for the days of King Kamehameha and the monarchy he founded. If it weren't for the fact that they were a U.S. state, their economy would fall apart and they'd be a third world nation.

Man that’s not cool to see things so negative.

I had a few dirty looks years ago, but really only on the east end of Hana, away from the resorts, and that was about it. No violence.

Temperature is up all over and needs to cool down
