General anything posted after those words can be ignored.
If he can be a top 10 QB we are going to win some games. This year is about him playing like a top half QB, and next season should be his year to push into the top 10.

The main point being that Trump has increased the number of immigration judges to speed up deportation because the liberal ones he inherited (now removed) were stalling.

Explain how they were doing this?

Trump just fired IJ’s who were still in their one year probation period when they blanket fired all government workers in their one year probation period. It truly wasn’t deeper than that.

Did you look at your own chart?

You have lost it recently. Can you read?

That is the total number after the terms are up. Trump is on pace for 1.5m approvals in term 2. That would be 3m over his 8 total years as president, 800k more than Obama with a higher approval rate. It's actually over Biden's approval pace as well by about 20k per year.

Face it, Trump is beholden to the tech lobby and is willing to import millions of Indians and Chinese nationals. The H-1B program and the replacement of the American middle class by Indian and Chinese nationals is a way bigger threat to the future of our country than Central American immigration is.

The majority is the 'self deportation' number, which is a bullshite stat they pull out of their asses because they have ne real way of determining that number.

They are including voluntary departure in that number which is a totally separate thing from the "self deportation" avenue they were pushing. What is happening are they are detaining people, they are fighting their case for 1-2 months, and if they don't get granted a habeas to be released or are denied relief they are taking voluntary departure. So yes they are leaving, but to act like the number of people saying "screw this" and just leaving is as high as they are saying is bullshite.

The list of new IJ's reads like a who's who of DEI hires. Lots of law schools on there that are tier 4 or lower with only government jobs in the past. the old requirement was at least 7 years of practicing law, and they took that away recently in order to make these hires.

My wife and I are going to a fertility specialist next month and am hoping it leads to us finally having our first child.

Having had to go down that path, if y'all decide to go through it then you have already asked yourself all the right questions. Watching all the crap your wife has to put her body through from conception to birth will make you love and appreciate her more than you can ever imagine.

Kids are a pain in the arse, but it's worth every second of it when you see their smiles and hear their laughs. Our 3 year old is from IVF and every time he says something outrageous that cracks me up or runs up and hugs me when I walk in the door from work is the best feeling in the world.

Massie bet the farm and went all in on the "Jews Did This" Carlson/Owens/Fuentes movement instead of listening to his actual constituents and voters.

His campaign should go in a textbook as an example of how to lose an election as an incumbent. It was hilariously bad.

This is because he knows he has no future left in the party after going after Trump and now losing. He can run independently which he should be doing in the first place as he’s a libertarian.

Yeah he probably should. There's not enough to make a national difference, but there's a growing amount of people who feel voiceless in the current political landscape that if a 3rd party ever wanted to pop up now is the time.

Funny that if the DNC wasn't so braindead they could easily run up the score in November by tapping into that demographic, but instead they continue to support Nazi tattoo communist and fake preacher communist types.

I would rather pay taxes to rebuild the Cuban infrastructure, rather than a bunch of goat frickers who hate Jesus, and western way of life.

Shouldn't pay tax dollars for either, but the amount of private investment from Americans in Cuba would more than cover it. Between American casinos and hotels, and Cubans that would re-patriate it would be a massive economic boom.

I'm inherently skeptical of all foreign involvement, but this one makes too much sense from all angles.

Neither party is popular right now and I don’t see that changing for some time.

I actually like Massie's quote in his concession speech that he isn't bipartisan because he doesn't like either party. Feels like that encapsulates a large portion of the population these days.
It's going to be hilarious when he falls awkwardly on his knee or wrist and has to miss some crucial games from flopping.
It should be no dual nationals at all. Even if you are a natural born citizen and later get citizenship you have dual loyalty.
Indicting Raul plus the news of the "offensive drones" is clearly our excuse to begin "police" actions there. It'll be we have to go in and do stuff to secure a wanted terrorist and prevent retaliatory attacks.

But as seen in this thread--with multiple OTers who are always reasonable--it's not so cut and dry.

I guess when combined with the comment, you could say it was provocative. Physical touch + flirtatious comment = sexual intent.

If some creepy old dude is calling my teenage daughter hot and trying to hug her, I'm perfectly okay with him getting slapped with a misdemeanor assault charge at a minimum.

Bunch of weirdos between the original thread and this one trying to defend this dude.

Results by Age

Gallrein was polling below Massie in every generation but Boomers with Massie having 81.5% with Gen Z and 68.6% with Millennials. Massie even had a slight edge, 53% with Gen X. It's the Boomers support that pushed Gallrein ahead.

Boomer MAGA circle jerk: Massie is 1 ineffective member of Congress why does anyone like him?

Also Boomer MAGA circle jerk: We need to spend the most money ever on a House race PRIMARY to get rid of this guy.

It's just pure Jew hating IMO

There's a huge difference between hating Jews, which is wrong, and hating the fact that Israel has an extremely overproportionate amount of influence on US politics, which is totally legit to be concerned about. Israel could be predominately members of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and I would be just as bothered by it.

Screw that guy - idiot and should be charged

I sort of feel this way too. Maybe not charged criminally necessarily, but the NPS and/or California should come after him for the cost of fighting this fire.
Looked up the island to see how remote this is, and seems like this dude may have overreacted.

There's a commercial ferry that run at times to the island, you can get camping permits, and it is part of the NPS. Did the guy not have radio equipment and/or a cell phone?

Guy is out here shooting flares and spelling out SOS like he is stuck in some uncharted island in the middle of the Pacific.
