re: Is Justin Herbert the most underrated QB in the NFL?
Posted by ShoughTFU on 1/11/26 at 9:59 pm to holdmuh keystonelite
Justin Herbert might be the dumbest QB in the league. Watching him throw makes me want to destroy the TV.
Guy or not, they are stuck with him. They just gave him a 265mill contract, 181 mill guaranteed. He ain't going anywhere.
Only a matter of time before that defense of his blows it in epic fashion. Almost happened last night, it's coming.
re: Atchafalaya Bridge looking tough fellas. Think Gov Landry needs to comment?

The pillars of the main Atchafalaya bridge do not look like that. That's most likely some random location.
He is not a number 1 WR. He'll catch the easy stuff. But then he'll alligator arm the game winner like against Miami. #1s make the contested catches. Plus he might be one more hit from retirement.
In the NFL you can see real quick whether a guy has it or not. Just watch how he maneuvers the pocket, decisions he makes under pressure, and how accurate the ball is. In the first Carolina game you could see dude has the tools. Then when he started passing on Atlanta with a bunch of grocery bagers, I was like damn this baw might dominate with a proper supporting cast. The ball just looks like it is floating with the smoothest spiral. And you can tell the guys believe and don't give up. With Carr and Rattler, as soon as they get behind the team's body language changes.

Some of these coaches taking up these jobs with no QB need to realize quick. You only have 2.5 seasons to develop the bum already there or find the replacement. Otherwise you'll be out of a job.
re: Ideal offseason

Ideal off-season is where the Saints make smart conservative additions/signings that don't kill the cap again. Sure resign these guys but don't give out stupid contracts that backfire.

We need a #1 CB. Alontae and Kool-aid aint it. Saints really need to upgrade the skill positions on both sides of the ball. Also, we do not have a #1 or #2 guard.
re: Cam Jordan end of season interview re: price tag

He is not worth 15mill. He was non existent the last two seasons and this season seems more like a one off than things to come. He should be signed as the veteran to keep the culture and enforce the lockeroom, and you hope he gives you production along the way.
To big of a contract and the Bengals will want too much compensation. Rather draft a guy instead
re: Shoughs interception dropped him to behind Dart for OROY odds by Vegas.

Shough was throwing to tomato cans all game and the offense had 3 total starters. He made enough plays to win the game. Nevermind the pick. Special teams lost the game. They allowed a punt block and then missed a FG, which seems to happen weekly. Thats a 10 point swing.
re: Cesar Ruiz, is he on the roster next year?
Posted by ShoughTFU on 1/5/26 at 9:05 pm to Yippie_Ky_yae
Ruiz will 100% get Shough hurt if he starts next season. He got Brees injured as well. It's mind boggling how a guy this long in the league can be this bad. They'll keep him because of the contract but he definitely needs to go and upgrading both guard positions should be a priority.
