Drexel condemned it as “utterly reprehensible”; he later resigned amid threats and controversy.

4. Johnny Eric Williams (sociology professor, Trinity College) shared and endorsed the essay “Let Them fricking Die,” which argued that when “bigots” (explicitly including white racists) are in mortal danger, the proper response is to let them die rather than help. He added commentary framing it in racial-oppression terms.

It's mostly the younger Hawaiians (teens to 30s) that are trashy and have no future.

Closest I've come to a fight happened in 2018 on Oahu...two days in a row. The second incident had multiple older Hawaiians apologizing to me for the way the yute was acting towards me. The POS yute keyed my rental car when I was still in a convenience store. Didn't notice it until after he left.

I've been back go Hawaii five times since and will be in Kauai again in September. All of these times the locals have been great people to be around.

Well we are. As others have mentioned, Hawaii would be another 3rd world dump if it weren’t for the US. Puerto Rico would kill to be in their position.

PR people would be grateful and fit in better as well.

Spent three days in HI back in 2000. Didn't have any trouble but I did stay in the tourist areas.

It's actually quite an expensive place filled with poor people. The income disparity across the island is pretty high. People often think of Hawaii as a luxurious place to live and all, but it is kind of skewed as that's the vacationing side of it. That's not the average resident's experience there.

this is pretty much how I feel about it. All the locals we talked to and all of our tour guides talked about how they support the nationalist movement for Hawaii to break away from the US and return to the Monarchy. 90% of the locals we saw were poor AF, fat as frick and lazy af.
