My son played high school baseball with a kid whose dad laid someone out at a local baseball park. Punched the other parent clean out and was banned from the facility. He acted like a jerk the whole time my son was playing high school ball. I did get 1 year without him during my son’s peaceful senior year after his son graduated. People like this ruin everything for youth sports.

I thought he was kind of an a-hole when he coached at LSU, which is fine if you win consistently. It seems he’s mellowed with age.
How long have we’ve been saying that? LOL, but we got him this time?

The way you do that is with scholarship money. LSU and Louisiana gives a lot (TOPS) of money to average/above average students. They don’t reward those more elite students with over 30 ACTs at a high enough amount. They will have to prioritize those students more.
