I take exception to the Yeti 20 oz. Tumbler being over-hyped. It fits all of the coffee I need for a morning and keeps it hot, and is the perfect size for a large cocktail. The slider lid can’t be beat.

I also like the low ball cups as they will keep a large round ice cube much longer than anything else when you’re drinking whiskey.

Pro tip: the slider lids can be used on other off brands, so I have a few spares of those.

If you run in Hokas you might as well just run in platform shoes with how high off the ground you are. Retarded sole thickness even in their “low to the ground” offerings.

I’m convinced that Hoka is a massive practical joke on yuppie douchebags.

Most retail-level North Face items.

I’ve got a neoprene jacket from like 2008 time frame that has been through some shite and still it’s in great shape. Maybe they’ve changed but that’s the best outdoors jacket I’ve ever had.

I was at a burger place a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the Dak Prescott burger.

It got delivered to the wrong table.

Outdoor types, and I am one of them is bad for fanboys. The Boss shot sell fan page is embarrassing. I still laugh at people that have a sticker on their vehicle advertising a cooler, or ones who pay $30 to advertise some company’s cap.

Most celebrity owned tequila companies.

Gibson Les Paul's of the modern era. I wouldn't say they're all hype but they definitely have QC issues. I've owned 2 from the last decade and still have one and both had workmanship issues that needed correcting.

Also agree with others on overpriced Yeti cups and coolers. Starbucks which is the 11% IPA of the coffee world, North Face which is overpriced and Free Country is just as good for much less. I'll also add Johnsonville brats, while not expensive are garbage.

These Stanley mugs are cheaper and work fine. Still cheaper than Yeti.

I would argue that it has to be Elton Brand. College Player Of The Year.. had a decent NBA career, but it should have been much better.

Disney

This has to be the No. 1 answer. Due to very special circumstances I've been there 7 or 8 times over the past 4 or five years which cost me relatively nothing. I've never fallen for the hype. I'm more interested in the production aspects so I closely observe everything. It's not difficult to see the thin veneer of what people see as Disneyworld. The television commercials are extremely misleading and no one seems to notice.

You know, I was in the Yeti is overhyped trash crowd, but I was given one, and it worked like a motherfricker. I now own several and they do the job and are pretty hardy. Don't get me wrong, I have cheap knock-off versions, too, but to me the difference is noticeable.

Yeti gets a lot of flack but I don't think they have a product that isn't the best or among the best in its class. They are overpriced, but great quality stuff.

My vote is for Samsung, at least on the home appliances side.
