re: How many college teams have you seen?

BAMA, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Utah State, Hawaii, Florida State, Southern Miss, Murray State, Eastern Kentucky.

Never been to an Iron Bowl or TSIO. Hopefully that changes one day. Saw Murray State play when Houston Nutt was coach. He left for Arkansas the next season. The only game I’ve watched BAMA lose was FSU in ‘07. I’ve seen BAMA vs UK four times (three at Lexington).

Question for UGA and Aggies

Posted by Pisco on 8/16/26 at 12:02 am
BAMA’s home and home series with Notre Dame got pushed back to 2029. We play Ohio State in a home and home starting next year. I’m looking to go to South Bend in ‘29 for that one. My question is assuming most of you flew in, did everyone stay in Chicago and drive over? Anyone drive and stop over in Indy? Are there any hotels in that area? Never too early to prepare. I want to walk the campus as well.
Wait what? That’s here and I’ve seen her in public before. Geez

Alabama the last two seasons:

9-4
11-4 (SEC Championship game, 1st round playoff win)

How did Ray Perkins do after Coach Bryant? Who followed Switzer and Royal? Frank Solich after Tom Osborne? Ron Zook after Spurrier?

It’s not that bad. I got confidence in him.

re: Is it time to replace Sankey

Sankey is the worst SEC commissioner. We added teams we didn’t need. He forced the Mississippi legislature to change the state flag all cause one State player was butt hurt over it.

Him and Big Ten commish are ruining the sport. A big monopoly and super conferences.
Freek was more than a TD favorite. He was across multiple message boards.
Can I make a recommendation sir?

PAC-10: Washington, Wash State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA, AZ and AZ State

Big 8: Utah, BYU, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa State, Mizzou, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Okie State

SWC: Texas, TTU, A&M, TCU, SMU, Baylor, Houston, Rice, Arkansas and Tulane

SEC: LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, BAMA, Auburn, Florida, UGA, UT, UK and Vandy

Big Ten: Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, NW, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State

ACC: FSU, GT, Clemson, USCe, UNC, Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, UVA and Maryland

Big East: Miami, VT, Louisville, Cincinnati, WVU, Pitt, Syracuse, Rutgers, Boston College and Penn State

Eight team playoff

Rose Bowl: PAC-10 vs Big Ten
Sugar Bowl: SEC vs Big East or at-large
Cotton Bowl: SWC vs Big East or at-large
Orange Bowl: ACC vs Big 8

Rose vs Cotton
Sugar vs Orange

Seven conference champs and highest ranked non champ Or Top six champs and two at-large.

Or

12 Team playoff

Top six conference champs and six at-large bids. Current bowl tie-ins still play. Peach and Fiesta become non playoff bowls. Semis are just regular semifinal games.

That would be Marcel Dareus.

How about D-Mac and Felix Jones. What a backfield.
SEC::Vandy
Big Ten: Northwestern
ACC: South Carolina
Big East: Miami, Penn State

UConn stays Independent. Kick UCF completely out. Send them to C-USA

Run DMC vs LSU 2007

I was at the BAMA vs SC game in ‘09 when Mark ran for 246 yards.

My 12 team format:

PAC-12: Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, BYU

Big XII: Colorado, Iowa State, Mizzou, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and TCU

SEC: Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, USCe, Tennessee, Kentucky and Vandy

Big Ten: Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State

ACC: Miami, FSU, Clemson, Georgia Tech, UNC, Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and BC

Big East: Rutgers, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Temple, SMU, Houston, Army and Navy

Independent: Notre Dame, UConn

Playoff: Six conference champs and two at-large bids: Use the NY6 bowls
I’m not about SEC loyalty. I rooted for Oregon and Florida State vs Auburn in the Natty’s. I’m just making the point 2004 USC was unbeatable that year.

I wish Mizzou would go back to playing Kansas every year at Arrowhead. Those games looked fun even in the frigid cold. Traditional rivalry games are the best.

Bring back Oklahoma vs Nebraska to.
I did. We didn’t last long enough to bring another women in for a threesome. And no we never had one with a guy.

I’m trying. Need to slow down a bit myself.

SEC realignment survey

Posted by Pisco on 8/9/26 at 9:08 pm
1. Pre-1992, nine game conference schedule, no SEC title game
2. 1992 expansion with Arky and SC, two divisions, title game, 8 or 9 game conference schedule
3. 2012 expansion with MIZ and Aggy, two divisions, title game and 8-9 schedule

I prefer #2 but would go for #1 if they bring back the Big 8 and SWC, but with ten teams each.
2004 Auburn was a good team, but are we honestly saying they deserved to split with 2004 USC? Team that went to wire to wire #1 and curb stomped OU 55-19 and QB won the Heisman? Don’t forget they beat Aub on the plains the year before.
Final score was 21-14. Keith Brown caught a late TD and got knocked cold. It was an awful game by both teams and yes it was Jacksonville
