I hope they lose all three against miami, smu, and byu. 9-3 and lose to every good team they play.
re: End of summer recap How much did you spend on your vacation? Spoiler nothing is cheap

We stayed a week at orange beach in may, condo on the beach and it only cost like 1800 bucks. Granted, it was just a 2 BR condo, but i did see it listed for the week in july and august for close to 5 grand a week. Crazy the difference a couple months makes.
re: How has the United States avoided another 9/11?
Posted by BregmansWheelbarrow on 8/19/26 at 10:11 am to LSUbasketballfan
It blows my mind every time I think about it. New York City went from the largest(Muslim) terrorist attack in history to electing a Muslim mayor in 25 years.make it make sense.
re: Pat McAfee to reportedly join ESPN's 'Monday Night Countdown'.

He made roughly $2 million a year actually playing football. Now he gets $60 million a year to talk about it. Dude has hit the greatest lick ever
re: California regulators approve new rules limiting what replacement tires you can buy

so it's a road tire restriction....any performance, off road, or specialty tires are excluded....what a complete waste of time

You know, you can read about a death and move on. Not every one needs to be scrutinized.
Maybe I'm the outlier here, but I just do not care about this stuff. 99% of celebrity deaths are just another headline I skim over.

I've never been asked these questions when stopped. They always start with "License and registration and insurance please." And then "I stopped you because _________." That's about it. I've been let off most of the time with just a warning.
Same in my experience. I've been asked the where are you coming from, where are you going questions once...and it was when I was driving from Illinois back to louisiana and it was 3am. Got pulled over by Missouri State Police and he asked me that...I said I'm coming from chicago, going back to baton rouge where home is. His response, "Well damn, I'm not gonna hold you up, just slow it down a little and have a good trip."

re: Most impressive thing you watched your dad do
Posted by BregmansWheelbarrow on 8/17/26 at 12:58 pm to CAD703X
My dad passed when i was very young, but my grandpa, his dad....most incredible, intelligent, genuine man I have ever been around in my life. Can do anything and fix anything and if he doesn't know how, he can probably figure it out. Military man and then an engineer after that...damn near 90 years old and will still do anything he is physically able for his family. God damn near got choked up just writing this.
re: FID Reached and Supported for Major Gas Pipelines from Permian Basin to Katy, TX

Yep. I can confirm it too. I know where all the pipe for the southern section of that line is currently being stored

In 2031 LADOTD will have the locations for the bridge here narrowed down to 2
However, they will still need to do another round of environmental impact analysis before they could pick one. And once that was chosen, another report to make sure the first four reports are still viable. So…we could see a tentative decision by 2038

20,000 Zulu defeated 1,800 british (1300 dead) in the Battle of Isandlwana. i would say 1800 solders >> firepower of 1 M4 and 1 man and 40,000 of Alexander >>> 20,000 Zulu
Single shot black powder rifles are not modern LMGs. 1800 British with M4s or 240s would have absolutely shredded a bunch of dudes with spears.

Pancakes aren’t exactly complicated. How much difference do you expect there to be?

Hell, I don’t think she needs fixing. Crazy redhead is my fricking jam.

You should try owning a business and dealing with commercially licensed plumbers. You don’t have to worry about getting fricked..you’re definitely getting fricked…it’s just a matter of how bad.

re: Who is the best/most famous athlete that you personally played against (at any level)?
Posted by BregmansWheelbarrow on 8/4/26 at 3:39 pm to ZZTOP
Played against Austin Ainge, son of Danny Ainge, in high school. We were in the same district. I thought our team was pretty good right up until we played them for the first time. He made everyone else on the floor look like they had down syndrome. He was absolutely incredible.

Dan Gilbert paid $250 million for an expansion fee. Think he will ever see that money again? Not through NBA subsidy or profit sharing either....through the WNBA
