Why does he need to leave? He signed the big contract. He knew what he was getting into.

That Saints interception:lol:

United State — 2 mins

Well below the standard of 3 minutes and 50 seconds
Wouldn’t mind seeing Coastal offer him the HC job.

Are they going to force Dabo to focus on the portal?

Dabo actually said yesterday that he will be using the portal this offseason

The era where respectable but mid tier programs like TCU, Auburn, and SC compete for championships is over. They are gonna be passed by schools with bigger payrolls.

I don’t think it is completely over. I think we will see mid tier programs compete but it will not be consistent.

quote:

CFB is gonna have the same problem MLB currently faces with some programs unable to sustain success simply because their talent gets poached by bigger teams with more payroll

Not only will players get poached but also coaches.

I dont know the Noles situation but I heard that was just too much to swallow

I’ve heard for a while that even though FSU is a big name and considered as a top coaching job, they don’t have the financial backing like other big programs.
Heard from a couple local reporters this morning and only found one article about it.

Riley
Bama looking good so far against Clemson
quote:

FSU is the only realistic one. Things would have to go really bad for the other teams.

I would be deeply surprised if FSU doesn’t fire Norvall next year. I think he would have to have a perfect or near perfect season to save his job.

I thought Penn St firing Franklin was stupid and it is biting them in the arse right now. I think we may see more of this every now and then. Some programs and boosters are getting impatient and just like in Franklin’s case, they didn’t care about the success of the previous season.
quote:

I truly believe that this will become a top job soon. There is just too much support for that program that has never been organized. They will do it one day.

We been hearing that for years. Spurrier had the program close until he got lazy at the end and they whiffed hiring Muschamp.

Lol, Auburn literally has the same number of nattys as all 3 of those programs combined.

I honestly forgot to include Auburn

South Carolina will definitely be open

I like Beamer and hope he turns things around but he hasn’t shown he can be consistent or take the program to the next level. I think promoting Shula was lazy. Next season is going to heavily depend on if Sellers stays, if he can hire a really good OC, and if he can bring in some good players from the portal. I think he put his job on the line next season with the comments he made after the A&M game.
Penn St, Florida, and LSU. I think Penn St was the biggest surprise of the 3. I wonder what surprise firing and major HC openings we will see next year? Tennessee if they have a repeat of this year? Texas if Sark possible leaves for an NFL job? Any predictions?

Bama could beat OSU, as well as ND

The only thing that worries me with Bama is how much they have struggled in the running game this season.

I would pick Ohio State to win the national championship right now but they aren't that tested. Elite may be understating how good the defense is, and the offense is very good bordering elite but it's not like it's some sort of historic machine.

quote:

Georgia, Indiana, Texas Tech, Oregon, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Miami are all capable of beating them, but again if I had to pick right now I'd take Ohio State to win it all.

I’m with you for the most part on this. As of now, I think Ohio St would be my pick also. There is no denying they have an arse load of elite talent on both sides of the ball. However, they haven’t been truly tested and we don’t exactly know how they will respond to a team that can punch back. We may start seeing a clearer picture on Saturday.

I think most of the teams you listed are capable of beating Ohio St except Miami. This might not be popular, but I would have A&M over Miami. If Kiffin was still at Ole Miss, I would have them listed.

Apparently you have to see the Stranger Things play on Broadway to get a lot of the backstory

I saw Stranger Things First Shadow this past summer. It was my first Broadway show. It was a really great show and I highly recommend it if anyone takes a trip to NYC.
I think they should be. They have been a pretty consistent team throughout the year. Only hiccup during the regular season was that loss to Arizona St because their QB was out. They still have 3 wins against CFB playoff top 25 teams. Every win they have has been by 20+ points.
