Chuck Norris has a grizzly bear rug in his room. The bear is not dead, it’s just too afraid to leave.

Fun trivia question, looking at their logo. What other team(s) have the first letter or their city and first letter of the team nickname in their logo?

New York Yankees

Are you asking for two separate letters or can it be one letter representing the city and nickname like:
Pittsburgh Pirates
Miami Marlins
Philadelphia Phillies
Chicago Cubs

Most American soccer fans don’t even watch MLS or the NWSL. The ratings for overseas leagues crush them in America.

I’m not a big fan of MLS but when some of the games use to be aired on FOX, FS1, etc I would watch it at times. Now, you have to go through two paywalls to watch it and it’s not even worth it to try to watch it.

Google to find what other folks are using with that gun and barrel length.

Another thing you can do (this what I did) was emailed the gun manufacturer. I asked them what were some aftermarket chokes they recommend using with the shells that I plan on using this season. They gave me a list of brand chokes and a chart of the choke constriction for the shot size.

I also emailed a couple of the choke manufacturers. Gave them the same information and asked for their recommendation.

I just a Kicks Gobblin’ Thunder choke for my Retay 12ga. Went with them because their customer service was outstanding when I contacted them. Got it last week but haven’t used it yet. Either gonna shoot Winchester XR Longbeard or Apex TSS this season.
While in Afghanistan, Chuck Norris stepped on a IED and the trigger man exploded.

What does Chuck Norris and Tornados have in common? They both destroy trailer parks.
That should do it. Wofford rebounded back nicely after all those turnovers
It’s been a pretty entertaining 2nd half so far

Nationals. Love their young position players and think Gore has a great year. Tough division, but think they will be a problem this year.

I love the young core they got also. Wood and Crews will get their first full season this year. Abrams and Garcia is the infield core that the Nats hope to build around. Gore is improving but he has to find a way to keep that pitch count down and pitch more than 5 or 6 innings. I think the rotation and bullpen will be slightly better than last year.

They have some really good prospects in their farm system that will help them continue to build over the next few seasons. They won 71 games last year with an awful roster. I believe the roster is a little better than last year and could see them winning a few games more. What hurts them is the division they play in.

Maybe the shitty owners will eventually sell the team and get an owner that is dedicated to the team and winning.

Last time I checked, Earnhardt won 10 races there. WTF are you talking about?

Earnhardt won 9 and Pearson won 10. It’s interesting that both drivers only won the Southern 500 3 times apiece. Jeff Gordon is 3rd all time with 7 wins. 6 of his 7 wins came in the Southern 500.

Finally! Hope the Lerners sell quickly. Can’t stand them. Just don’t tell to that loser Ted Leonsis.

Some of the worst owners in sports. They simply don’t care. How do they try to draw fans during these shitty years? Raise prices on concessions and tickets.

You have your hardcore DC natives that had maybe been jonesing for a team, and quite frankly the Nats are old enough that some can now claim to have grown up with them, but that’s a small section of the base. I’d say the fan base is largely casual. DC is a pretty transient city so you’ll get a lot of people that passively root for the Nats and going out to a few games a year is a nice social thing to do. It helped when the Nats were really good for a number of years.

I think this is a pretty accurate assessment. I was stationed in DC for a year (2018) and the crowds were pretty good. Of course having the roster the Nats had helped the attendance. The last Nats game I went to was in 2023. I got 3 tickets in the hospitality suits for like $45 a piece off of seat geek. They sucked but I enjoyed the overall experience.
