On Cloud - comfy, but they fell apart around one year. Maybe they aren’t built for exercising?

Orvis - expensive and overpriced. Orvis used to be well made. I’ve noticed a considerable decline the past few years. Clothes rip, sizing is all over the place and inconsistent, buttons routinely come off in the dryer cycle, and such.

Sony electronics - many consider these some of the best, accessible electronics. Maybe I’ve been genuinely unfortunate, but mine have burnt out after a relatively short period of time.

Starbucks - the shop by my home has a line snaking around the parking lot every single morning. It’s acidic and tastes burnt.

Dallas Cowboy and Notre Dame football - premier “brands” that are routinely overrated and all hype.

You can get some Orvis stuff at Costco now. It looks and feels cheap. Prolly not the stuff they’re selling at their stores. Speaking of Orvis stores, I can’t believe the one at Perkins Rowe is still open. Never see anyone there.

I get mine from Perkins Rowe or online from the Orvis website. You’re absolutely right, they typically don’t have many customers.

I’ve been buying a lot of Orvis for 20+ years. I’m about to cease all together. It’s noticeably inferior to what it used to be. I’ll stick with LL Bean.

So good at being overrated that they have a secondary market to sell just the box.

I have to disagree with you on the Polo. Those shirts last forever. I think I still have some from high school.

Jack Daniels I think it taste awful and has been so successful because they are excellent at marketing.

It really is terrible. With all the whiskey/bourbon available to you idk why anyone would choose JD. We drank it when we were in high school and what not bc it was easy to get your hands on, and at that age you’ll drink pretty much anything.

The cloud ones aren’t built for exercising. More of an everyday shoe for people on their feet a lot. I use them for work since I’m on my feet a lot or when I’m around town. I love em. Had the same pair for 5 years. Try one of their running shoes for exercising. I use a pair and they have lasted me.

Starbucks. Their coffee tastes burnt to me but I guess when women add all the soy milk and sugar it’s basically a milk shake
God thank you! Not to mention getting in a drive thru line that wraps around the strip mall and waiting 10 minutes for stupid coffee. Then showing up late to something with all kinds of excuses, while holding a 32 oz super frapa something that I know was 15 minutes out of your way.

Starbucks - I am shocked at how many people like their coffee, including my wife and daughter.

I like the coffee at Racetrac gas stations more than Starbucks.

I don’t drink coffee but I’ve heard it from many people that I’d consider experienced coffee aficionados that Race Trac has some of the best coffee around. And you can practically get a jug of it for $1.

It's good. The machine grinds the beans right before it makes the cup so it's really fresh and like a dollar or two.

On Clouds are so ugly. Every time I see someone wearing them, I automatically assume they’ve just given up.

I take the "poor" route and buy Ozark Trail from Wal-Mart like any true baw would.

Ozark trail cups are every bit as good as yeti. And every brand of ice chest makes a "yeti" type chest these days. I have a coleman version that works just as good if not better and cost 1/3 as much.

Every single Yeti item I have was given to me. I would never spend money on that shite.

Yeti is better than every imitator, and I don't have that many Yeti products. But RTIC has notably declined, which isn't surprising. We have some Yeti bags for pool/beach and they're years better than the RTIC type equivalents.

NOW, I'm not saying paying 40% as much for 85% of the quality is a bad move, it's probably a good move. But Yeti is a high end product and the fit/finish is much better than competitors.

Can't say I get this. They're probably the cleanest/simplest/most flattering looking athletic shoe for middle aged dudes.

Much better than some 45 year old dad rolling around in Js or clownish Hokas (and I like Hoka fine).

BMW. They're a nightmare to maintain, use Torx bolts in the dumbest of places, fix problems that don't exist, and generally think that their owners are too stupid to understand how they actually work. Ultimate Driving Machine my arse.

This. Many years ago my dad usually traded in his cars for a new one every two to three years. He offered to literally give me his BMW for free and I wouldn’t take it.
When he asked why I told him I’d be broke if one single thing went wrong with it. Replacing a new headlight for the damn thing was $500. I could go on.
frick that.
