Was the control room hardened with BRM style design or was it basically a regular building in the middle of the unit? Guessing it was the latter. They were putting in modern BRMs in Shell Convent when I started going out there in the mid 2000s.

I’ll admit I didn’t realize this when I posted. Though it makes sense because I thought the race was at 3 pm but when I opened Apple app a little afternoon and the race was going I just went with it.
