The Peace and Quiet APp

Any of the OT members hear about this map?
Its been making it rounds on social media.
Its basically an app that has an in base map in different areas around the US, that specifically locates certin "parts of a city" that tends to be noisy.
And it gives you the option to avoid that area.
People are upset about it.
Personally, Im torn on the subject.

It was a couple of years ago that a guy made an app that helped tourists and drivers avoid driving through high crime areas. It used publicly available crime stats to do so. It was pulled from the App Store for being RACIST!!!!
Of course, the people sky screaming about it refused to admit that they were tacitly admitting that the high crime areas were therefore the black areas.

Used to be when you looked at a Zillow listing house hunting you could click for crime stats for said neighborhood. That’s gone away. I wonder why?

‘Peace and quiet’ is not some kind of wildly unreasonable expectation and it’s violation is very often perpetuated by self-centered, low-IQ individuals…
