It's a strange assertion, and I don't know that it has any basis in fact, because how would you know that most drownings aren't observed.

I mean people have drowned in pools surrounded by dozens of other people and nobody noticed .

So why is it so suspicious that nobody saw this young men drown? It may have happened in front of their very eyes, without them noticing.

Because there are plenty of examples of a black person committing an assault upon someone not of color. I don't remember you being outraged about any of those.
