I have more hours in Xcom2 than probably any other game ever. Looking forward to this one.

I’ve been looking for good turn based strategy games that scratch the xcom itch and nothing has done it for me. Seeing something similar that is Star Wars? Count me in.

I did thoroughly enjoy wasteland 3, though, and have hundreds of hours in it. Kind of a cool mix of xcom and fallout.

Anyone out there that doesn’t have Arsenal repeating?

Feels weird reading something like that as an Arsenal fan. Nice, but weird.
Kind of surreal tbh.

Leagues cup most successful dribbles per 90

Ellis, Luna, Sullivan
Probably how this board views draconian sanctions

I would expect a Freeman type situation and he moves next December to a club in Europe if he develops like he has been.

I could absolutely see this. Keep in mind though that next season has a sprint season in the spring followed by the calendar switch to August-May.

Pulisic was scoring goals in the Bundesliga at 17.

He got some playing time at the very end of his 17 year old season. We won’t have a comparison with Mathis until the end of this year. Cavan is a tougher comparison because they are much different players and play in different leagues.

Cavan Sullivan, Noahkai Banks, Zavier Gozo, and Adri Mehmeti?

Add Mathis and you have the top five prospect U-20s. Peyton Miller, Neal Pierre, and Justin Ellis are all top prospects now (Miller has been so the longest, he’s been playing up a year at youth national team camps for several cycles now). I hadn’t paid much attention to Ellis until the last few games, but man the kid has some sauce. More an Aguero type striker if I had to compare him to anyone. Less technical, a bit more physical. Ostensibly a forward but plays more like a tucked in winger. Griezmann apparently really likes him. Ellis was the only teammate he followed on insta  LINK

This guy makes a really good list if you want to start following closer:

I peruse the various year lists before youth national team competitions so I know which players to watch more closely. Yes I’m a sicko.

Cavan and Mathis are viewed as Pulisic level prospects at this point. Prospect is the key word here. People in general see Cavan and Mathis as having higher ceilings than Pulisic. But then again, many thought Reyna’s ceiling was higher, too.

This is why the OT is always so sure of itself

Yup
I’m sure there will be a bump in youth soccer participation and maybe even adult leagues. There will probably be a modest increase in interest in MLS and more people watching the premier league.

Highlights vs Necaxa

The Mexicans are going to hate this kid
I know someone who got a dishonorable discharge from the navy for fondling a dude, so there’s that.

Aren’t you a PEM doc? The irony of a pediatrician struggling with their kid is not lost on me. It’s an impossible endeavor sometimes

I hear you about the “fast” thing. It’s so crazy that she is already almost 5 months and it breaks my heart a little to see her grow

This is so real. I didn’t want my kid to get teeth because his gummy little smile was so cute and it was how I knew him. Turns out he’s still cute with teeth. Just trying to enjoy every moment since every parent I’ve ever talked to said it goes by fast.

Hilarious that Mexico wins this on a not goal and a not red card.

That is far and away the worst dogso decision I’ve ever seen. I just turned off the game then and there. You knew the fix was in.

A lot of players didn’t get released. This is a C team at most positions.

Hall, Ellis, Sullivan, Mehmeti, Dills, Pierre, Albert, Torres (Austin midfielder) etc

Everyone flies coach, sometimes for 30+ hours of travel. The U-17 and below also have to lug all of their equipment. It’s a lot. Older age groups get more help with the luggage and equipment (zarges).
